for anyone looking at "reloaded edition" thinking its gonna be just like DL1. dont get your hopes up. this is still dying light 2 with all its quirks and feature, a subpar ending sequence without a developed after story besides NG+. Im still going to recommend this game for anyone who hasnt played it and enjoys MELEE. I CANNOT stress this enough that you will not be running around blastin throughout the game. I didn't even get my hands on a weapon besides a pistol until the last 2 main story line quests of the game, and you wont be finding ammo just anywhere and cant buy it in bulk from any vendors. its still a good game, just not as good story or gameplay freedom wise as DL1.

Im actually having fun. its a Bethesda title, it has its flaws, but it also has its charm. the one thing i hated about 76 is the bugs, and ive only had a few bugs and no game breaking bugs. once modders on nexus start putting out some more in depth mods Bethesda titles only get better. the story is fine, the combat is fine, the worlds are cool where time was put into them, but other areas of the game are a little weak but it will get better with him. so overall it's a fine game. and for the game not even being out for a week. im FINE with that.

friend got banned for no reason and we beat the game together and got super hyped for late game stuff. he would sit almost every day in the safari zone farming for certain tems, put over 2000 hours into the game. without warning or any information on the ban he was swiftly deleted from what he's said is his most enjoyable game he's ever played. shame, real shame. this has happened to a lot of the dedicated player base. so please. IF you're gonna give this game a try, don't put more than a few hours into it. the more time you sink into it the closer you are to a ban.

This game is so cool. but if you're someone who wants a finished and polished game this game wont be for you. and THATS OK!! I personally bought the game just to support the developers and their vision and to help them get it to the point of being a fully fledged RPG experience and they're doing just that with monthly developer posts about what is new and what is to come. the game just needs a little bit more time in the oven, but if you can't buy it now at least put it on your wishlist until its at a place where you feel comfortable buying and playing it.

Haters will say its unfinished and bad when its made by a handful of developers that listen to every ounce of feedback given. I've been a patron for over a year now and the strides and great lengths OkiDoki and his team have made to make this a game everyone including themselves will enjoy is honorable and honestly refreshing to see. Sure it doesn't have as much polish as a AAA title but lets be honest. Do any of them live up to that standard especially in this day and age? Battle-bit remaster should be a reminder that Small development companies and a handful of guys can make some of the most fun, unique, and chaotic fun that you can have in your free time. Writing a review is also about whether or not you would recommend it as a game to play. I look at other competitors and they just cant offer the same stability, Community interaction. and overall commitment to growth that battle bit's team can, so its a no brainer. for 15$, you aren't getting much better than this.

Wishing I was able to leave a positive review on Tuesday when i was able to play it but have been enjoying it A LOT so far

A few things to keep in mind if you're iffy on buying it
>They played it safe
- A lot of things are missing that would really elevate this game to one of the greats. including flying fighting combat, sports in general throughout the harry potter universe, the ministry of magic is also pretty much non existent
- With that said definitely...
> Lots of room for DLC
- going along with my first point, a lot of good room for exceptional DLC, including new zones, more in depth into
Hogwarts as the school because the name is "Hogwarts legacy" but you really don't spend enough time there IMO
> Better companion system/RPG characteristics
- IMO they missed a big opportunity to add "Mass effect" like companion mechanics to where you could have characters that you have good standing with be able to cast certain spells that could help you in Multi-battles in certain places of the game. With harry potter it was rare seeing him alone, and in this game you're just a little TOO alone
Those are just a few things that I think would put the game into a top 10 list for anyone reviewing RPGs.

Story - 8/10
Non-combat Gameplay - 9/10
Combat Gameplay - 10/10
Graphics - 10/10
Optimization - 8/10
Character depth/design - 7/10
Replayability - 7/10
Would I recommend to a friend for the price - 9/10

Final Rating: 8.5/10

Really fun and enjoyable game, and definitely what AAA titles should be and should strive to be, a total saving grace for the harry potter franchise as a whole, and im excited to see what else that have in store for this game and future games.

So! i've now officially beaten this game twice. once on xbox game pass when it launched, and once on steam now with both DLC completions under my belt. So I thought id give some insight into how I enjoyed the game with a simple pros and cons list.
Now before starting this list a little bit of backstory. ive completed and played morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim 100+ hours and completed all DLC. and have completed all Fallout games Fallout 3 and up + DLCs with varying hours put into each depending on how I liked them SO this is my opinion with that in mind.

Pros:
- I liked the look of the game, pretty bright, easily distinguishable enemies. less dreary then the normal fallout look
- Great story telling for side quests and main quests. The companion quests were pretty eh, but thats just because ive done them twice now
- I actually liked how all the weapons felt. I played through normal my first playthrough, and hard on my second. and I found that ARs and LMGs were the way to go for me personally. then I discovered snipers and BRs and it was just GGs. head shots feel super nice in this game too. I didnt use TTD or VATS or whatever very much but it was satisfying to use when I did.
- your choices matter. you have faction rep and other RPG like pros and cons. whats cool is vendors charge more or less depending on how much they like you. and some of the bigger factions put vending machines all around. and you get penalized the whole rest of the game with more expensive prices if you make the wrong moves

Cons:
- So levels = power in this game. and guns drop near or around your level, and what area you're in. there is also level upgrading for items but it gets progressively more and more expensive each time you upgrade an item so heres the issue. If I get a cool item. I have to spend like 100k to get it to max level which is 41. its ridiculous. you also cant easily see what enemy levels are without using TTD (VATS basically) so it's just eh. I know my level, but idk if im over leveled or under leveled, its just weird lol
- The weapon damage types arent explained very well. I found myself just running corrosion through the entire game, and then had a shock damage weapon for robots and that was basically it. never used N-ray or whatever and plasma, as well as never used just normal ballistics because they all seemed mediocre. I try not to use google for games like this and thats now I enjoy them so. wish it was explained a bit better.
- this is just being nit-picky. but a lot of the good choices you need to have really high dialogue/science/engineering/etc. to make the choices you wanna make. and with a level cap if you want the play-through of your dreams, you'll probably hit like a wet noodle. I was fine my second play-through through having past knowledge of this but. just keep that in mind. and dont even try to run without companions if you want all he good options as they give you boosts to those stats

Ok so thats about. Final rating issssss....
A solid 7.7/10

I think this is a fair score. not comparable to the greats like skyrim and oblivion or Fallout NV and FO4. but it was a fun experience. DLCs were good too so GET IT ON SALEEEEEE!
