Out of the first 3 games, this one might be the weakest in the series. It's not awful but it sure does take forever to feel like you're making any decent progress.

When this game came out I wasn't even quite 2 yet. It's very reflected in the graphics. It also has better mechanics than half of the RPGs you could name that came after it. Personally, I like the old graphics. You don't play a game to admire textures. You might as well watch a movie if graphics is more important to you than gameplay. Well kids, this game's got gameplay. A substantial number of hours and an investment await.

Casual is okay but if you're planning on buying this might as well not bother with ranked you won't even have a chance at this point without many hours of practice.

The game was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good they forgot to make Trepang1.

>creation club (it's like they saw roblox making money off a bunch of impressionable little kids and said "hey, we can do that!")
>can't change any graphical option from within the game (stupid unnecessary headache)
>built on an engine that was considered outdated before they even started working on the game (probably to save money since their programmers are very competent and only know one coding language)
>god forbid you tab out once
>The DLC isn't even worth your time

This is an example of a company that doesn't deserve to own the rights of a particular franchise's title. Oblivion more than proved they can do it better in far less time.

Actually my favorite game to date. Not everything is perfect, but that doesn't stop it from being a damn masterpiece. Especially when modding for this game is about as simple as it gets short of using a workshop. So if there's an issue that actually bothers you to death, there's a very good chance you can find a mod to correct it.

It's insanely good if you ask me. If you're a LoTR fan you'll be happy to know that this game is packed full of lore. There's a lot more content in this game than I was expecting. The boss fights are a bit repetitive but not tedious imo, so it's still fun. The Nemesis system this time around has a substantial improvement from what was given to us in Shadow of Mordor. I'm impressed. WB's game studio is actually quite competent. You can tell a lot of work was put into this game. I might even go as far as to call it a masterpiece in some respects.

The only complaint I could really establish after about 30 hours is that I've noticed from time to time your character gets stuck in places. It's usually on the edges of climbable surfaces. I don't really know what causes it to happen but it's not very frequent and I've figured out each time how to correct itself. So it hasn't been substantial enough to ruin it for me.
