Originally released in 2010, this remaster holds true to the original game. An excellent puzzle game, but isn't the most replayable game due to the linear storyline. For those who are into achievement hunting, the achievements are quite fair and aren't too difficult to complete.

As a continuation of HITMAN™, HITMAN™ 2 provides 6 new locations (and an additional 2 via the expansion pass for a total of 8). Adding some much-appreciated quality-of-life improvements as compared to HITMAN™ 1 (retaining SA even if the target spots you, briefcase, blending in crowds and foliage, to name a few).

Is this the right game for me?
If you're interested in an action-packed game with zero downtime, this probably isn't the game for you, as the HITMAN games are more slower-paced (unless you're into speedrunning). However, if you're interested in a puzzle/stealth game with some action components, HITMAN™ 2 is definitely a title to look into.

Growing up around the Mario platformers of the late 90s and early 2000s (and recent with the Galaxy series and upcoming Odyssey), there's a special place in me for these types of games, and A Hat in Time reminds me of the classic Mario platformers. The five different worlds are all each unique, including a "traditional" world, a movie studio (which then forks into 2 other level types), a horror/ghost world (with one of the more terrifying levels I have seen, which REALLY changed the tone of the game), a free-roam world, and then the final world which felt somewhat like a Bowser level from the Mario series.

Unlike Yooka-Laylee, each "act" in a world provides a basic idea of what the theme of each time piece is (such as "train rush", indicating that there will be a timed event on a train level). With Yooka-Laylee, I felt as if I was just thrown into a large level, and somehow had to go around and find each pagie, which felt tedious, especially when you may have not had everything required to accomplish the goal. This was not the case in A Hat in Time.

There is a vast soundtrack to the game (78 tracks), proving a unique audio experience to each level and event that fits the level's atmosphere well. If you appreciate the music as well as I did, buying the soundtrack DLC is a no-brainer; having the MP3s to listen to whenever is a nice touch to have.

The main issue I had in the end was the length of the game. There are only 40 time pieces in the entire game (only 25 needed to complete the full story), and I was able to complete the game with 100% completion in about 17 hours. Having more worlds (and therefore more time pieces) would have been nice.

Even though it may sound boring at first, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a great way to pass some time driving on the open road, without having to burn any real fuel. The graphics are superb compared to previous SCS Software games and the overall gameplay is great.
