HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! one of the best party games out there. what starts from a simple 2d platformer shooter quickly becomes a swag match for who can pull off the coolest tricks to kill the opponent. easy to learn, difficult to master. everything feels like one big part of something greater, and there are a lot of cool interactions, like guns firing when they bounce on springs. still not intrigued? there are cool mods that add more stuff and maps to the game, and that means, there is a LEVEL EDITOR. the game is simply amazing.

the gameplay is a bit too fast but i liked it. the first bossfight was especailly fun to p rank

- EULA. Even though it has a funny start, there is still an EULA for a singleplayer game.

-! EVERY empty room has enemies in it. Overwhelming and mind-numbing.

! The gun is underwhelming. I think it barely does damage for all of the work that you do to make it reload. It takes 2 hits to kill a floor 1 enemy. Bad.

- The smash' hitbox is just barely big enough to hit the 3 demons' projectiles. You will mistime it. A lot. This is a floor 1 enemy by the way! There might be an skill tree upgrade to make it bigger, but I honestly don't really enjoy the grind. At least there are in-run upgrades to increase the range of it at least. Oh, but I can't really control what i get to drop, now can I?

! Expensive shops. Yeah.

- The game doesn't feel hard because you didn't master the mechanics yet, but because you have to grind out the (quite literally) skill tree.

- "Adaptive difficulty", yet no option to actually change the difficulty manually from what I could find in the settings. Why do I have to pretend to be at a certain skill level to change the difficulty the way I want it to be? Oh, and what does this "adaptive difficulty" even change? I don't understand...

Now, I don't hate the game. This is a cool game. But the negatives put a damper on my personal experience. Yes, I probably will continue to play it, but I would like to have my concerns addressed.

Was playing on the blue level where everything is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up (E3M9), my computer bluescreened and I thought that was a part of the game

What do I mean? Well, the game certainly tackes on subjects like mental illness. But it doesn't suggest any solutions from what I have seen. Unsatisfying...
