Ive decided I dont care about the account linking. You can make a 100% anonymous PSN account with a throw away email and literally just say you live in qatar or whatever and theres no verification required. Linking your steam account doesnt give them anything but publicly visible steam information. Sony doesnt ban you over mismatched account/playing locations either and never has. The stated country only matters when making purchases through PSN, and since you can buy super credits through steam still, not even that matters.

There's better things to be angry at sony and AH for, and all this debacle really does is show how stupid the average person is and willing to just jump on a completely pointless bandwagon.

Instant classic. Launched in a good state which is unfortunately too much to ask for these days. Modding tools released pretty quick and the updates have addressed good issues and already added some requested features. Released an update roadmap which seems to be be well focused. Gameplay is fun (could use some refinements in stealth mechanics and AI priorities which I dont think are difficult fixes), writing gives me some laughs, soundtrack is great. Looking forward to seeing them hopefully release more content.

If I had one concern it would be that the AI isnt great. Their overwatches can be placed very poorly, but far more common is the frequent disregard for their own safety. The AI seems to usually prioritize getting closer, and shooting at you over anything else. It's also easy to bait them into funneling at you one at a time. I would love to see hard mode AI that tries to ensure some degree of safety first, and random AI profiles like ones that will just camp a doorway with overwatch, or going for wide flanks.

This is one of my favorite games.
Bring back John Gibson, he did nothing wrong.

It's about on par with the age of charlemagne DLC for attila. It lacks depth but it's still worth playing a few campaigns in if you like the series. It's got a few unique mechanics that are interesting, different factions also have little doohickies that do different things (like different decrees you can pay to enact giving different bonuses, or building up "legitimacy" through various actions to be able to annex culturally similar factions), though, they're usually not too exciting. I do like them though and it's a good way to make factions feel a little more different. But, to be expected from a total war title (or really any game) that's received limited post launch support, some things could've used a little more refining, but usually just in numbers, I've not really encountered anything that's actually just broken.

Don't expect it to blow your hair back, it's limited in scope, but if you like the series and are interested in the setting, it's alright. I'm still not convinced that it needed to exist though considering all the other things they could've spent their time and money on in the series.

A class that can actively harm your team with poor thorn wall placement. You would think it would be instinctual not to place it in the middle of a pack so that the enemy streams around both ends of the wall and flank you, or not to just waste it and wall off enemies that don't need to be and blocking your ranged attacks against them, but no, people really have a hard time figuring out even basic usage.

Remove the team movement slow through the wall, make it more transparent, and allow at least team mates to shoot through it. In designing an ultimate, assuming the worst case scenario, the ultimate should only have the capacity to be wasted, not actually cause a wipe itself.

Other than that, the weapons and talents are actually ridiculously strong. This class is infuriating in so many ways, and it brought elf hating to heights unimaginable.

Early Access Review
Game is far too large scale for the fact that there are barely any vehicles or any sense of combined arms gameplay. It's like rising storm, except the maps are way too big for that gameplay without transport vehicles. There's only ever like 1 truck active and it's usually just taking ammo to the one or two tanks that are ever on the map at the same time, or its sitting stuck in a ditch until it respawns.

If they can replicate the scale and battle flow of heroes and generals then it'll be in a good spot. Kind of disappointed it isn't even close already. I'm not asking for a big selection of vehicles, or aircraft in early access, just that the game has some sense of combined arms gameplay, I don't care if every single tank or transport vehicle are the same model in early access. It just currently doesn't have the framework for the depth of gameplay like ARMA, and it doesn't have the action of something like battlefield or rising storm.

Right now it's just a bunch of running through fields to get to some stale infantry gameplay that isn't solid enough to hold up on its own. That's even if you're able to figure out whats going on and see any enemies before they kill you, which will be most peoples experience. I'm used to that sort of gameplay though so I was able to be reasonably successful at times, it's just that at its best, it isn't very engaging. The tools to give the game some character are there, the foundation is there, but the framework isn't, and that's what worries me, because a lot of early access games just never quite figure out the specifics of what the game is, and at that point they just start adding meaningless content to a relatively featureless game. I sincerely hope the devs figure it out though, it's not anywhere near a lost cause like a lot of early access games are, they just need some smarts designs to better incorporate combined arms and teamwork.
