Might not be the best game I've ever played but it surpassed my expectations, which was more than I could hope for after years of waiting.

All (or most, at least) bugs from launch seem to be fixed now, and the missing gloves hint at future content/updates. This game is like Mirror's Edge meets Shadow Warrior with a Hotline Miami-style approach (1HK and banging synthwave OST). It's a short but fun trip, where you'll die hundreds of times but it's still easy enough to finish, even on Hardcore.

I'd recommend to anyone with a decent amount of skill, whether you're a casual gamer or a challenge-seeker with something to prove.

So boring you'll find yourself eating broken glass to pass the time. Cannot recommend this game before its full release.

Better than Machinarium. Grimmer plot than usual but still full of Amanita's trademark charm, which becomes more obvious about halfway through the game.

Great with a friend, still a lot of fun solo, just finished a 100% Hardcore run over the course of 2 weeks and it was worth every second. Can't wait for the remaster.

"Evolved" combat means no ironsights? Seems like this clunky game was remastered only graphically (with an on-the-fly toggle between the original and remastered textures), and kept everything old-school. I had higher hopes coming into the series but this just gets tedious. Save yourself the bother and just play Battlefront or some other space opera game actually made within the last decade, lol.

Misleading DLC name, no relevance at all to witch trials.

Another point-n-click series from scriptwelder, freely available online in Flash format. If you're new to their games, I would recommend trying or watching the first game first, just in case it isn't your cup of tea, since this Steam version adds nothing other than owning it (and its achievements) on Steam in a format other than Flash.

Older than Don't Escape, this takes place in the same universe, in a dream reality where the protagonist has to figure out how to wake up. Escaping is as far as the gameplay and story go, nothing more to it. Unlike Don't Escape, this series is horror-themed, and reminded me of The Last Door (a Lovecraft-inspired point-n-click horror series from the devs of Blasphemous, about a man investigating his childhood memories, and his therapist searching for him in turn). It's very short if you know exactly what you're doing (see my playtime), but it's worth the low price.

Don't Escape is a modern classic point-n-click series, the opposite of an escape room, where you have to figure out how to seal yourself away so that nobody can get hurt. You play as a werewolf, a zombie-apocalypse survivor, and the lieutenant of a dead spaceship, each with different enough playthroughs that you'll have to try new methods to figure out how to avoid any casualties/deaths.

The series is available for free online, so only get this if you're already a fan. There's nothing new included, you just get to own it on Steam.
