Occasionally janky and buggy, but this is a wonderful CRPG of a different take on Arthurian myths. An 85/100 effort.

The good

Massive game world with many different environments
Game can be challenging at times, especially with boss fights
Combat is well done
Crafting that's meaningful and feels impactful
Voice acting is pretty good
Excellent variety of weapons and spells
Good upgrade and skill system
Some wonderfully dark moments and places
The Wyrd makes travelling at night interesting
Little if any handholding - no dungeon maps, game lets you figure things out for yourself
Intriguing adaptation of the King Arthur legend

The bad

Animations can be stiff and janky
Some clipping through the world
Enemy AI can be variable
Although the devs added stuff, there still isn't as much content in areas two and three as there is the first one

Surprisingly deep and dark. A huge game with a huge amount of things to do. An 85/100 effort.

The good

Massive game world, rewards exploration
Hogwarts has an awesome design, and rewards exploration too
Finding all of the collectables is actually fun rather being a chore
Main quest is engrossing and intriguing
Combat is very good
Excellent gear upgrade system
Spells and abilities are very good as well
You get to use Dark Magic!
You get to be Slytherin!
Excellent customisation options for your character
Decking out your Room of Requirement is fun
Great voice acting
True to the Hogwarts universe if you care about that sort of thing
Some challenging boss fights
Goes places ethically and morally you wouldn't expect

The bad

Many of the side quests are fed-ex, step and fetch it type things
Capturing some beasts is an exercise in frustration
No quidditch!
Suffers from the same symptoms the HP books/films do - you're a student who blasts and wastes bad guys out the wazoo, saves the day, is an all-round hero etc, and you're still treated a callow, dumb student

Can be brutal at times, and a bit samey in places but good fun all round. A 70/100 effort.

The good

Patched to work on modern OSes and computers
Spells are good
Lots of weapon, spell and clothing/armour upgrades
Story is pretty good too
Action comes thick and fast
Puzzles are clever

The bad

Some backtracking involved
Fighting the same mobs gets old, especially toward end game
Side quests are ho-hum

Ignore my Steam time - I played this through ECWolf. Needless to say, if you liked Wolf 3D, you'll like this. It's more of the same. A 75/100 effort.

The good

More Wolfenstein goodness
Variety of map types
It's a real challenge finding all the secrets and treasure
Action comes thick and fast

The bad

Maps can be large and confusing
Key hunting can get old

Endlessly creepy game - you're on your toes the entire time
It's a remake of an old school game - no handholding and it's brutal
Great weapon choices
Excellent boss fights
Story unfolds through logs and emails - and it's a grim story
The junction box puzzles can be challenging
If you enjoyed the original like I did, you'll love this

The bad

Cyberspace can be a PITA
Some backtracking involved - I don't mind, but others may find it annoying
If you've played the original, then this game will hold no real surprises

One of the best games of all times IMHO. Takes the System Shock/Dead Space formula and runs with it. A 95/100 effort.

Tells a compelling, deep story, through narrative and in-game emails, recordings etc
Excellent voice acting and characterisations
Superb level design, both inside and outside
Different endings based upon player choice
Great music and sound effects
Like all good horror/suspense games, you never feel safe, even when you think you should be
Good action and combat mechanics
Lots of upgrade and building options

The bad

A couple of minor step and fetch it quests
The Nightmare can be annoying.

This is the first part of at least two games apparently, though it's not advertised as such. You'll get an hour out of this one at the most. Poor value and a poor game. A 35/100 effort.

Graphics and HO objects are well drawn

Incoherent story, to put it mildly
An hour of game for your money
Minimal replayability
One almost identical HO scene after the other, reused assets galore

One of the best adventure games ever made. Ignore my Steam play time - I played this on CD years ago when it first came out. A 90/100 effort.

Intriguing and involving story, in fact you wish there was more of it in this game
Some of the puzzles are real headscratchers
April is an appealing character
The dual worlds are done well
The lore and history of Arcadia is well fleshed out
Excellent voice acting
Good music to go along with it too

The bad

Some backtracking involved though it's not too annoying
Crow can be an annoying character
If solving challenging puzzles isn't your thing, you can get stuck easily
