What gets worse the more you try to fix it?
Rainbow Six Siege.

I pray to God no one makes the mistake of redownloading this absolute trainwreck of a game. If you’re thinking, “Maybe it’s changed” or “Maybe it’s finally good now,” you are WRONG. It’s the same laggy, glitch ridden, dysfunctional mess it has been for the past 5 years. Just now with even MORE overpriced skins.

I wouldn’t force my WORST enemy to play this for more than 20 minutes a decade. If someone handed me a fully loaded spring trigger revolver and said, “Play one match of Rainbow Six Siege or pull the trigger,” I’m pulling the trigger everytime. Russian Roulette has BETTER matchmaking, more consistent outcomes, and arguably fewer crashes.

If This Game Was on Fire, I WOULDN'T Even Pee on It to Put It Out.

The current gameplay loop in 2025 (FIRST ranked match btw):

1. DDOS’d within the FIRST 30 seconds of the game starting

2. Massive Problems DLSS causing random screen eating blips on the screen

3. Sound is completely broken on Emerald Planes. Being above the kitchen in the museum in certain spots will make you lose ALL sound for some reason

4. Random FPS drops while walking outside like the game just remembered it hates you

5. The lighting is so broken it makes every seem like your staring into the sun

6. Crashed to desktop at the last minute of the match and was punished for “leaving early”

Ubisoft doesn't fix problems...they multiply them.
If I could give it a more negative rating, I would.
0/10 Uninstalling was the most fun I’ve had with it.

MSFS 2020 crashes more than a blindfolded drunk driver, and Microsoft support is so useless they’d rather watch someone ♥♥♥♥ in their hands and clap than lift a single finger to fix their abomination of a game. It's like they outsourced tech support to a colony of brain-dead chimps armed with Etch A Sketches. If stupidity had mass, their support team would collapse into a black hole of stupidity and suck the entire world in with it. I wouldn’t trust these people to manage a lemonade stand without drowning in the pitcher. It’s like they staffed their tech support with escaped mental patients who think turning the monitor off and on counts as advanced troubleshooting. I’d get more useful solutions from a Ouija board at a crack house. At this point, paying $120 for this game was like paying a hitman to kneecap me with a crowbar and then asking him to invoice me for the hospital bill.

So, would I recommend this game? No. Not really.

Overwatch 2 Has Major FPS Drop Issues on High-End Systems – Completely Unplayable
Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5090

RAM: 32GB DDR5

Monitor: 4K 240Hz

I'm running one of the most powerful gaming rigs money can buy. I can play Cyberpunk 2077 at full Psycho settings in 4K at over 300+ FPS, absolutely smooth, no stutters, no dips. Yet somehow, Overwatch 2, a “competitive” shooter from 2016 with a facelift. DROPS from 600+ FPS to sub 30 FPS the moment I move my mouse too fast.
Yes, you read that right: FPS drops to under 30 just from moving the mouse quickly. Doesn't matter what map, what hero, or what resolution. Stable framerates until I flick or turn, then it plummets and the game becomes a stuttering mess.
I’ve tried every fix imaginable:

Reinstalled GPU drivers (clean install)

Turned off Reflex, V-Sync, G-Sync, etc.

Switched between windowed/fullscreen/borderless

Disabled overlays (Discord, NVIDIA, Steam, etc.)

Capped FPS manually and uncapped

Nothing changes.
Meanwhile, Cyberpunk, RUST, Helldivers 2, Doom Eternal, and Bodycam all run flawlessly. This is NOT a hardware issue. This is an Overwatch 2 optimization issue.

Are we even surprised? This is the same company that basically turned the office into a live action raid boss encounter 100 Women vs 1 Alex Afrasiabi and instead of nerfing him, Blizzard gave him legendary loot and a corner office. Alex Afrasiabi was out here running the “Cosby Suite” like it was a prestige dungeon, and HR was just handing out kirko skins.

Honestly, Overwatch 2 runs about as well as Blizzard’s HR department… which is to say, not at all. This game drops frames harder than Afrasiabi drops lawsuits. I’ve seen smoother performances at middle school talent shows, and at least those don’t end in federal investigations.
