Decided to try this out since it's been sitting in my library untouched for ages, played a level that screamed "fire in the hole" at me and then crashed my game

If you have a friend to play this with, it becomes the best Resident Evil game. Similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4 with better controls and an improved Mercenaries mode. Also Chris is so roided out that he can explode someone's head by punching them in the chest.

In a crew of five. One captain, one engineer, two mechanics (me being one of them), and one security officer. Everything is going relatively well until our engineer pokes at the Nuclear Reactor until it bursts into flames. Everyone except the captain is now in the reactor room, the security officer beats the engineer to near-death and the other mechanic extinguishes the fire as it's burning me. The captain then comes in and tries to stabilize the engineer. A few seconds later, the fire reignites, exploding the reactor in about a second, killing everyone instantly except the security officer who gets crushed by the water pressure about 15 seconds later.

If you're using an AMD GPU, switch the graphics API from OpenGL to Vulkan. Doubled my FPS and made borderless window mode less broken.

Great campaign and a fun multiplayer, but there's hardly anyone online anymore because Activision thinks it's acceptable to sell a nearly 9 year old game for $60.

I highly recommend that you start off this game with friends. Once you figure out how the game works, then this becomes one of the best games of all time.
