Schoonmaakazijn is een reinigingsmiddel op basis van ongeveer 8 tot 15 % synthetisch geproduceerd azijnzuur. Dat is twee tot driemaal zoveel als gewone tafelazijn bevat. Het kan ook methanol bevatten. Het middel is niet voor consumptie geschikt.
