It's a great game, but it feels like 90% of the lobbies are filled with hackers.

The 1hp bug has pretty much killed the game. Until EA even acknowledges it, do not buy.

As it stands, I'd recommend it. BUT curb your expectations right now.

Story is surprisingly good, and the 2 dlc stories are quite fun too. Maybe 24 hours of content for a new player,

It does combat extremely well, it flows quick and each hero feels like their comic/mcu counterparts. Thor and Hulk might not be capable of destroying a city in one swing but c'mon its a video game, it's gotta be fair.

Loot is really meh, it's pointless trying to get any build until you hit max power and even then you have no way to re-roll perks/stats on gear so getting that PERFECT item is all but impossible. Still you can get some solid builds, the system just really needs some quality of life changes.

Matchmaking needs real work, when it even works. Combat flows far better when you're on your own sadly. Plus with some improvements they made to the AI, real players just aren't necessary. That's good or bad depending on how social you are.

The roadmap they've promised looks good, the game would hugely benefit from a ton of variety in enemies and locations. In time it may well pull itself fully back and be really really good. Right now, if you want Avengers and miss Marvel Heroes then this is a buy.

But curb your expectations and walk into it as an average game.

Quite simply, the best game i will ever play. You can play 100 games on this thing and be raring for 1000 more so play it and enjoy it.

A lot of fun and lives up to the original's reputation definately a must have.

A Great game well worth the money you will have to spend hundreds of hours just to get close to doing everything the game has to offer.
