Hooking up my flight yoke to this game is like driving a real car no cap.

The game is ok. The main reason I'm giving this a thumbs down is it's clearly not worth $50. Especially considering the devs will 100% release DLC to fix the content holes in the game, $50 is just disgusting for what is offered. $20, sure, but the content in game is just repetitive number clicking to watch my $ go up. Not that much replayability compared to other Paradox games, plus the economics isn't fully thought out (Yes, I have a degree in Economics and cringe at this game being touted as the "Ultimate econ game" when it is missing so much that could have easily been done prior to launch).

Game has a lot of potential, but the economy is by no means close to Vichy 2 in it's current state and rather feels like they tried to make EU5 set in the 1800's. I know they will improve it over time and hope they follow through with improving their economic system, as there is a lot that needs to be done. I get the devs wanted to make the war system not exist for the sake of easier developing, but why was I able to conquer Russia as Sweden when my military was a tenth their size with the same tech? Budgeting and fiscal planning is very basic and removes lots of features from the original Vichy 2 game-play (I know it just released, but still). If the devs can fix the war system so there is at least some level of optional micro, or at least more options for combat tactics, then I'll be fine with the war system. Political system is a mash between all Paradox strategy games and only takes the worst parts out of each game.

The whole point of this game is to be economics on steroids, but in it's current form, it just isn't that. If you are a fan of Vichy 2, this isn't a sequel, it is a whole new game that just uses the name "Vichy". Buy on sale is my only suggestion if you really want to play this, or wait a few years for the content to arrive.

It had so much potential and is now a dead game. Multiplayer has at most 2 people online at any given point. I miss the good ole days. Keen, you're cringe for killing this game.

This is the only game where I have managed to get less than 10 fps with my i9-10900k & 3070.
