CD Projekt RED for several years managed to accomplish what other developers can only dream of - to create a gamer analogue of the "Game of Thrones" and achieve world recognition by expanding the target audience of The Witcher from a group of Sapkowski's brainchildren to the whole gaming community. In addition to the unique world in The Witcher, there is something that radically identifies it in the space of the RPG - it is a tremendous naturalism of everything that is happening. Developers do not adapt to the toothless norms of artistic expression, prescribing bashfully hide naked bodies and pools of blood, do not offend women and children and, of course, include as many representatives of all races and minorities in the frame, even where they are inappropriate.
As in the plot relationship, and in the severity of the issues raised, the authors remain faithful to the spirit of the original. There is no good and evil here, the ideals of justice give way to real social problems. Tyranny, infringement of the rights of groups of population, widespread cruelty and, of course, the struggle for power - politicized fantasy in popular culture is very popular today, but in the world of role-playing games - a rare bird. "Witcher" is densely inscribed in the artistic basis and confidently uses its resource. Did the developers finally uncover the potential of the universe in the final chapter of the history of Geralt from Rivia?

As the degree of elaboration of the plot, characters and voiced social problems, and territorially the world of "Wild Hunt" has become larger and more complete than in the previous parts. Quite correct in this case will be a comparison, not even with them, but with the standard of "large size" - The Elder Scrolls. However, unlike the latter, the scale in The Witcher is not the goal, but a condition for immersion in what the "Scrolls" just do not suffice - into the soulful atmosphere of the Slavic epos.
Galloping the horse overcoming dense forests and endless plains, strolling through the streets of local villages, climbing the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Skellig Island, not only get aesthetic satisfaction from the grandiose landscapes and incredibly beautiful graphics, but also you feel the scale and significance of what is happening. Each frame of The Witcher 3 is filled with life: the trees are swaying from the gusts of the wind, the village children are sporting by the lake, along the roads are gangsters and warriors. In the inn you can throw yourself into a gwint (card game) and have a beer. In Novigrad you can listen to the priest's sermon, and in the tavern - indulge in the memories under the delightful song of Priscilla. The living world of the game, full of adventure romance, is beautiful.
Chasing a girl
In order to understand all the nuances and subtleties of the events and better penetrate the atmosphere of the world, it will be useful to get acquainted with the books of Sapkowski. However, this condition is not mandatory: after visiting a tavern in the first village you delve into the political situation. The northern kingdoms are experiencing the expansion of Nilfgaard, people hardly conceal their dislike for the invaders, somewhere a guerrilla movement is formed, conflicts between the local population and the "blacks" are erupting. All this, as usual, is just the background for the main action.
Geralt remains faithful to the indestructible principles of neutrality and refrains from interfering in state affairs. The hero and his problems are enough: the love of his life, Jennifer, is forced to cooperate with Emperor Emgyr, Triss Merigold is hiding from the local inquisitors in Novigrad, and with the adopted daughter, Ciri, the situation is very bad - it is pursued by the Wild Hunt. Actually, it is to the search and rescue of the lady that the main storyline is dedicated.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt compares favorably with its closest competitors: from Dragon Age: Inquisition - the manual study of quests, from Skyrim - focus on the plot and its nonlinearity. On
the strength of the feeling of presence, the creation of CD Projekt RED is several goals higher than anything that has appeared in recent years. The trilogy about Geralt receives a brilliant completion in the form of "Wild Hunt", uniquely becoming a classic of role-playing games.

Pros: a huge world, stunningly beautiful and filled with a variety of unique content; a large number of stylistically verified and voiced dialogues; set of choice situations; an amazing atmosphere; an interesting and rich history of the world and characters.
Cons: weak artificial intelligence; some witch's abilities can upset the balance.

For a long time Rockstar Games was known for its franchises, in which we play for a bandit. Namely Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead, which is an exclusive for consoles. In 2011, they decided to surprise all players by releasing first in June on PS3 and Xbox 360, and then in November on a PC game in which they give the opportunity to play for a policeman. I did it some 1.5 years after its release on the PC and now I'm ready to speak about it.
Graphic arts. Stunning and detailed graphics, performed on the engine RAGE, which made Grand Theft Auto IV; Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City and Red Dead Redemption. Optimization is good, I have a great game. The atmosphere of the post-war time in Los Angeles was transferred perfectly: all the characters and citizens dressed in fashion 40s; Cars are beautifully portrayed; The city itself is perfectly represented.
Voice acting. Excellent English voice acting, which is in the games series Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, as well as Bully. Beautiful music written by the brothers Haley, which perfectly suits any situation whether it's chasing or exploring the terrain.
Plot. Interesting, intriguing, serious, fascinating and dramatic. Personally for me, he seemed tightening: that's how he tightened me and did not let go until the very end. I think that this is one of the best plots in the games. Characters are famously revealed: Cole Phelps - a detective who lives after the war as a bylaw; Stefan Bekovski - nice experienced, fairly open, etc. In addition to the plot cases, there is DLC, in which there are 5 cases. So the game is long enough.
Gameplay. Well designed. We're playing for Detective Cole Phelps. All the elements are presented: a crime scene study for evidence; Interrogation of witnesses; The pursuit of suspects; Searches in apartments; Keeping a notebook where addresses and clues are written down. The fights are the same as in Grand Theft Auto IV. Driving is good. Shooting done cool. It's really a real detective.
Masterpiece game with all the parameters made on excellent, which I personally want to return to every time. It can be safely called a detective king, and what was before it can be called quests. But not only because of this, but also because it's a game from Rockstar Games :)

The best game I've ever played, it has a lot of advantages, but there's a big disadvantage, there are too many cheaters in this game, and if Valve is going to fix it, then this will be the best game in the world, I'm sure of it.

Better than Counter Strike Global Offensive.
