Honestly I hate to write a bad review for this game, I wish steam had a meh option instead of an up or down vote. I've played every DoW game. Dark Crusade was my favorite (loved T'au). If this game had a last stand mode or an awesome campaign I would probably have given it a positive review. I like the idea of the Elites and Doctrines. I just don't like that they put it behind a pseudo pay wall of earning skulls in order to unlock everything. I've beaten the SP on Normal and might go back and play on Hard. It was meh. As for MP I haven't touched it since the beta. I'm not a fan of Power Core, which is weird cause everyone saying it is like a moba and I like dota 2 and LoL... I just do not like it. I really, really, really want The Last Stand mode from DOW 2, and it would probably bring back more casual people that are not interested in the PvP multiplayer.

So yea it's a meh game, I'd only recommend buying it on sale due to the lack of content.

So they added Annihilation Mode and turrets. Now they just need to add The Last Stand Mode!!!

I loved OMD 1 & 2. This game is a cash grab p2w game. In order to get traps you need chests. In order to get chest you need to play games as different hero's on each level of the pve mode or drop $$$ to buy them. In order to get hero's you have to either grind through the pve or pvp sabotage(I'll come back to Sabotage later) for an enormous ammount of time getting skulls, or drop $$$ and buy them. Honestly I was a founder(I stopped playing becuase I was deployed for half a year) so I had all the hero's and a ton of gold so I was able to level up a lot of stuff fast. I cannot imagine coming into this game with nothing and trying to unlock everything I had by grinding, it would have taken me months, of just playing this game to unlock everything I used my gold to unlock and it makes me sick to think of the poor souls that are trying to grind to unlock everything...

Now on to Sabotage, at the current time I have played about 20 games. I have won 7 out of those 20. Of the 13 lost games 11 were total pubstomp where we were destroyed in the first 2 waves. 2 of the games I lost were close. Of the 7 won games 5 were the opposite where my team pubstomped the other team in the first 2 waves. 1 game out of 20 we made it all the way to the end and went to sudden death. The 1 other game was close where I won by a few rift points. I have no friends that play the game so finding a team is hard and people didn't really communicate much in the game. So out of 20 games 4 games were enjoyable, because pubstomping an enemy team in 2 waves is not really enjoyable, it feels super cheap.

If you are going to just play the pve it's fun, but grinding for more traps or hero's is gonna occupy a lot of your time. If your going to play pvp, good luck if you aren't dropping $$$ to buy more traps and upgrading them. I wish I could give this game a possitve review, but as it stands it is a p2w game. They either need to change how much people are rewarded for stuff in the game or just make OMD 3. I'm hoping for the latter.

I have the actual card game with all the expansions. This game is awesome and is soooooo much fun especially if you have 4 freinds that have the game. It's also cool that if you have people watching your game they can cast votes on who had the better argument, though that can be a detriment if you're in a game with a streamer because their fans might be a little biased, but hey it's just a game. Overall I hope more games like this show up on steam *Looking at you Cards Against Humanity*

Good game. Story was awesome and nemesis system is interesting to play around with. My only gripe is the ending... I won't spoil it but let's just say it was over easily and quickly. Idk if they ran out of time and just threw it together, but come on a quicktime event last boss fight where you just move the cursor into the circle and hit the space bar (or A button if your using a 360 controller) and win? I'm hoping the DLC will at least add a better ending maybe.

I know its only episode one and all, but still this game is effing awesome. The writing and story are pretty witty with borderlands type humor, compared to The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us where it was pretty gloomy and depressing. I love borderlands and I'm so glad that Telltale was able to make this game. Just hope the rest of the episodes are as good as this one.

Not as good as the Walking Dead, but it was fun to have another game like it to play. Story was good, and it got me more into the Fable comics.

Didn't think much of this game when I saw it, then there was a steam sale and got it on a whim, boy was I amazed. So much that you can do in this game, from naming your ship and crew (Great Fox with Fox, Slippy, Peppy, Falco), choosing what you want to upgrade, what kind of weapons to use, and all the diferent types of aliens in the game. Very fun game.
