Red blood stains our standard,
for its purity, obscured and darkened,
be ruined by greedy tyrants.
A purity of white faded to weakness,
by heroic tragedy amongst its bearer.

Victory has kissed her purity,
an affair that lasts for centuries.
with a holy union of great grandure,
grand be the name I give to you my mother,
Grand be Poland-Lithuania.

Red blood has stained our standard,
its purity, however darkened by evil, survives the light
for our guardian angels carry us unto glory.
In through the gates of heaven we ride,
with invincibility and victory at our side.

Mother Poland, have you seen me?
The glory I gave to you soaked in blood?
Both mine and of those peoples who,
in vein, rise up against us? Mother Poland,
protect the souls of those who carry your eagle,
the white eagle which guarded us, may it guard your virginity,

The towering giant lays silent in the hills
The people sitting with no thrill
Wandering about with their normal ways
The same thing each and every day
This day though different from many
As the ground shook with force of plenty
The sleeping giant has awoken from its slumber
No longer will it sit and wonder.


The fire came down in balls of light
As if done with the Almighty’s might
The people filled with terror and fright
Ran for the hills without a fight
The giant who saw nothing but destruction
Sent its fire with its instructions
Down came the giant’s fury
The people of the town guilty by its jury


The people thought their fate was sealed
But the volcano had to yield
With the disaster over nothing left standing
The people’s lives heading for a crash landing
With no more shelter, food or water
The people yielded to the volcanoes slaughter
With white peace declared between the two sides
The people rebuild where they resid
