Well, here we are. three years, and two re-writes later.

I cannot even think of anything to add. It's just my go to game for some simple and mindless fun.
So yea. Just get the GOTY version already, join a lobby and just...see what works for you.

And remember, Don't let a Meta change the way you want to play.

Man, I cannot beleve I would ever rewrite a review for a game. I've seen what people are saying about this game, and I agree that OVK need to stop doing what they are doing. But here is something that I do want to say as well. Even though the buisness practices of OVK are doubtful, even though they have lied to the community, EVEN THOUGH they release content in doubtful state...The game itself is still good and fun and it has been for the last 2ish years. But for real, and I do mean for real, Don't buy any more DLC's. If you are a new playing reading this, just get the base game, and nothing else. Overkill doesn't need more DLC money, but we do need players.

I'm rambleing for quite a bit now. In short, I've had fun with Payday 2 for a while now, but I guess I'm happy somebody showed me all the facts in full.

Almost 150 hours into the game...And I have to say that it never gets boring. OVERKILL is incredibally good at keeping their top-selling game alive, something that I've missed in other games.

The game itself is, according to many other people, Drill waiting simulator. But this is not true anymore. It has now truly earned the (sarcastic) title, Crook simulator.
