Joined for the Arknights collab, they captured the pain and frustration of fighting the Seaborne perfectly. I won't spoil anything but this is a game worth playing. This comes from a Day 1 Arknights player,

Hello,

I've played all the Homeworld games, from 1 to the remaster, from the Desserts of Kharak to this game. I know many people, knew fans and old have very mixed opinions of the game. The story is a bit cliche, and some of the moments were forced this is true. I had to shed my rose tinted glasses to see the short coming of the game but I feel like it must be said that, even without the nostalgia factor of the game, I am truly glad they chose to make the game this way. It has enough of the elements of the first two Homeworld games and a lot of positive influence from Desserts of Kharak without simply being more of the same of either two inspiration sources.

Homeworld 3, to me, feels like a good, albeit slightly rushed, finale to the saga of Hiigara and her people. The missions of the game were fun and involving with just the right amount of risk to be engaging enough for old players and forgiving enough to new ones. The 3D cinematics felt like a good addition, but could have been done better (also the fact that the game still continues while in a cutscene is such a low blow, I get the need for immersion but in an RTS game you can't just rob player control to show something. This I would ask to be fixed). Lastly, the gameplay is just as I remember if not better, I got to experience all ships of all classes and I love the way the new system carries itself; small constructive note though, the corvette class could use more units than just the railgun for the campaign faction, I would love to see this in future expansions.

Overall I did love the game immensely but I understand where the criticisms come from.

This game felt janky at first but after getting used to the controls and the mechanics (I'm quite new to games like this after all) the concept and the writing absolutely sent me! I had a blast and I'm stuck at scrap jaw now but knowing JRPGs all I gotta do is grind and do a bit of min-maxing here and there. I look forward to slamming that rat into the ground but so far I've had a LOT of fun just with the characters and their dialogue.

I played this game for the first hour with a feeling of nostalgia which I couldn't exactly understand. After the first hour though, I had a eureka moment, this game reminds me of those last stand type games back in the Y8 days. I love this game for that and it's quirky narrative, it's good fun for a quick sit down and shoot!

I played for about 10 hours before getting the "Just as planned" DLC. I can say that the game both before and after the DLC purchase are very much worth the price.

Wanted a bit more from the main game play of Tetris, but overall it was as I expected. Art was pretty good for the price of the game. The only thing I am not satisfied with was the story, it was all over the place and seemed to be trying to preach a message that didn't align with the games genre.

This game is an incredible remaster of the original Homeworld series, I remember playing the original homeworld. This game was the first time I felt for a character in a videogame, now I know that it doesn't have the most fleshed out story of all the games out there but it was an amazingly emotional story for young 13-year-old me. I love this game, and this remaster does the orignals so much justice.

I love this! Internet in my country isn't super great, so having this as a replacement for Lofi music streams while doing requirements for work or school is great. Helps focus, and the fully adjustable environment adds even more relaxation on top of everything.

Interesting deckbuilder but the best part for me is the mods that come from the community. My personal favorite is the Doctor Mod from the Arknights community. ^ w^
