Short but great mod with interesting mechanics, many of which were cut from Portal 2 in development. They all integrate very well into each of the tests and are fun to manage, particularly one that has to do with lasers.

My only gripe is that the story doesn't really tie into Half-Life at all, despite the driving focus of the mod (and the fact its a prequel to Portal 2) setting up an easy connection. However, it likely takes place closer to Portal 2 anyway which seems to be a world in which the Combine is has been defeated or chased away.

Fun game with neat Cold War Czechoslovakia references.

The locations, shootouts, puzzles and story are expertly done and definitely keep you engaged. The graphics themselves aren't amazing by today's standards but they look great nonetheless (especially in natural areas and caves) and performance is absolutely excellent with constant FPS above 140 on Ultra settings with zero drops.

On the downside some of the mission dialogue is "quippy" and can get annoying, but the characters all have good chemistry and know when to take things seriously so its relatively easy to ignore for the most part. Climbing can also be a little boring especially when it takes up the majority of the gameplay in a chapter but the regular vistas and slight changes to climbing mechanics the game adds also make it relatively passable.

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but as my first game in the series (and as someone that doesn't really have much interest in video games anymore) it has kept my interest throughout.

Waiting for the mod to remove the dialogue and all audio but the music from the game.

While the levels (and some of the enemies) look like a Unity asset flip, you forget about all that when you're sliding around jump kicking soldiers. Its not FEAR, but its close enough.

A great little game about identity and finding yourself packaged in a cute representation of the late 1990's internet. While the online experience depicted in the game was a little while before my time, Alex's experience in discovering herself and managing who she is alongside her friends and family distinctly resonated with me and my personal experiences - and likely would with many others in a similar position.

While it might have been a little easier to locate these feelings and identities in the mid-2000's, the experience and methods of dealing with them remained the same.

Whether or not you feel the same way in relation to the personal themes of identity, the games cute aesthetics, internet nostalgia, and calming soundtrack make it an experience worth playing.

I don't know if I'm stupid or something but I'm enjoying this one far more than the original.

The best Resident Evil Remake so far even if it doesn't have the laser scene and "It".

The game

The Source engine has always been excellent at crafting believable and beautiful industrial environments, and INFRA is the definitive example of that. While the puzzles might require you to occasionally look at a guide the story and beautiful environments make playing the game an experience unlike anything else available.
