One of the best realistic space explorations games out there.
Everything you accomplish feels like a huge milestone because of how complicated and hard this game can be sometimes, but if you're willing to put in the effort, then it's 100% worth it.
Just don't get KSP2

After playing the first Subnautica, BZ is just meh.
It isn't a horrible game, but it isn't great either.
The Seatruck is slow and sluggish, especially if you add cargo onto it. The snowfox is a cool concept but I just don't understand why you get knocked out of it everytime you take damage, making it just frustrating. The prawn suit mobility got ganked, and so did the speed you move in general in this game.
The world just feels incredibly cramped and small. You can swim forever in a direction in the original subnautica and you wouldn't reach the void, In BZ I found myself finding the world edge multiple times when I'm just exploring.

The story is okay, Al-an and Robin have interesting conversations between each other. But Robins sister just doesn't serve anything story wise besides giving robin a reason to go to 4546b

If you're on the fence on whether you should get Below Zero or the original Subnautica, buy Subnautica first. You can revisit BZ if you really enjoyed it, but it won't be as good as the original game

100% platinum, 70 hours gameplay.
What do I have to say? It's amazing, every bossfight is insanely hard but the sheer euphoria you get after FINALLY defeating that one boss is worth it.
I love this game.
