Let me start this review by saying that iv been in the closed beta and i have talked to the devs on there twitch stream. I see a ton of comments talking about some things that have been talked about either in the discord and or the twitch stream, I also see people have specific questions about the game and such, also the in game community not being very welcoming. I can tell you there is an amazing community on discord and a lot of people in game that would love to teach you all about the game, i am one of those people. (add me on steam if want someone to play with, please im lonely). Anyways! Now the review

Let me start by saying that (the devs) Vercidium and rocket are some AMAZING people, i know they really care about this game and its something there very passionate about witch in turn now IM very passionate about. (i think they put something in my water). The game they have been able to create in the few years they have been working on it is crazy to me. They have said not a single asset was used and everything is custom (props rocket) and in 3 years that is amazing.
The gameplay might not be for everyone and you might not enjoy the recoil at first. But what i can say is the devs are active and they are listening to everyone they hear.

GUN PLAY:
*Recoil: Guns have very high recoil if you come from the likes of cod and battlefield, It took me about 3 days to get used to it once i did thought it was easy to come back to. I welcome the new system with open arms, making longer rang shots easier to hit in small burst.
*Balance: Here i think needs some work the futuristic weapons have a bit of a edge on the modern weapons. If your playing well that edge is very small though.
*feeling: The guns in Sectors Edge FEEL REALLY good, they have something about them that make you feel like john wick, i cant explain
*customization: Not much hear other than some early skins and your choice of iron sight, red dot and 2x. Tho you can change the reticle and there is a 4x for the sniper.

MOVEMENT:
*Smoothness: The movement is smooth and intuitive, you can also slide!
*Features: Rocket jumping!!!!

UI:
*Menu: A little bit confusing when you get started but after the first 5 mins you will understand how everything works. One thing i need to add though is when you have someone in your lobby it doesnt automatically pull everyone in to the game when you join one, they have to click join on the lobby tab to join the game once your in.
*In Game: Very simple not to busy not to bare. Map is very nice

LOADOUTS:
you have 15 points. Each perk, gun, throwable and extra ability has an amount of points and you can chose whatever combo you want that is under the 15 point mark.

MAPS:
Maps are hard for a game where everything is able to be destroyed. But over all i think there pretty good.

MODES:
Modes r good! New one is a bit crazy with 12v12 but i enjoy it.

Conclusion!!
This game is a great game that i know content will be coming to so stick around and the rough edges will be polished no doubt!

very fun to play with friends or by yourself and if you have friends that do not have a pc its also crossplay with mobile! You cant go wrong! Join my team on there aswell! ASHESGaming

you all know what this game is. but i'm here so if you have never played this game i would give it a download. Its very hard to get in to you may not know how to play at first but watch some youtube videos on the game talk to some friends that play anything to help give you some help to get better. This game has a very big skill curve and skill cap, it will take some time to get used to i'm just now getting used to it at 400 hours at the time of this review. but please be patient you will get used to it. Play with friends, its so much fun doing meme strats with your friend or trying your ass off to win as many games as you can so you can rank up or just to mess around in some community maps. Which brings me to my next thing, community content (there is a lot) so many maps you can choose from me and some friends have done everything from, killing a dragon to 1v1ing with desert eagles, maps can make this game have more fun that if you just did the stock modes. now! For skins, i myself have some and i love them, if you want a skin don't try your luck in cases tha'ts not the best way, your just going to lose money. buy the skins you want from ONE the steam market. (This is fast and easy just search up the skin you want find the wear you want maybe some stickers and buy the gun EASY. Gun should go right to your inventory) OR from 3rd party websites cs.money is the best out there. Deposit funds and buy the skin and then you will have a trade from the csmoney bot and that will have your skin. One thing is to never trade your skins on csmoney you will lose money for that they have to make a profit after all. but anyways that all i can think to talk about so enjoy your new game that you will sink countless hours in to (even know steam counts your hours played) and have FUN!!!
