for sure one of my favorite fighting games, fluid and easy to get into even as a novice. Thank you to the 4 people online for showing me a good time, I love you.

The endless crashing and bad UI of this port inspired me to download an Emulator.

The gaming sphere is riddled with coming-of-age tales, but few have been as effective as Sable.

Sable sets out on a journey, and the pace you set is completely your own. There is no danger, there are no threats. This may seem odd, but this lends to what Sable does best: Exploration.

The Sable team has a strong sense of what makes a good open world. The game is littered with secrets and questions. It recognizes that the open empty world doesn't need to have a collectible every 10 feet, or a million mindless side quests. It never wastes your time.
The 160 or so collectable eggs are condensed around landmarks the player will naturally want to explore, making the completionists job much easier, while simultaneously encouraging exploration among more casual players.

The open areas of the map may be a bit barren, but they serve perfectly as a playground for Biking, or just gorgeous scenery as you travel and explore.

Quests are far from checklists in Sable. I remember every single quest I've done in the game, each felt sufficiently unique. There are no "Side-Quests" as it were. Every duty that you can undertake is a vital part of Sable's story. You make friends through these quests, learn lessons, and discover more about the lands and histories the world is hiding. This game has more heart and life in its characters than the last 3 Assassin's Creed games I've played combined.

Do the thing. Play Sable.
