well, i played the itch.io demo, and then immediately bought the full game
and have been doing nothing but enjoying it since

Oh my god it's so good now.

This blows the Unity port out of the water.

i can't describe why i love this game very easily without gushing about everything, so here's a summary:
- the keyboard binds were near-perfect on first boot, I just needed to change Run to Left Shift
- all of the music, sounds, and graphics are fantastic
- the game takes every possible positive lesson from every 2D Mega Man game and crams it into one incredible campaign

so, uh. quickly jumped to the top of my "favorite boost games" list. best sonic game in about a decade, if i had to guess..

I really like the Museum in this collection specifically, because of that one feature where you can just go fight the Robot Masters.

This game's deathmatch is FUN. The weapons and movement and maps... They all come together in an amazing blend to create fast, frantic deathmatch. Co-op gameplay is great, too, but make sure to share your resources if you have items set to permanent.

Absolutely amazing game, and a wonderful reimagining of Half-Life. Sadly, my computer's kinda bad, but the game still runs nicely enough for me. Yeehaw.
