DO NOT BUY THIS PACK BEFORE READING THIS. They purposely left this information out in hopes of more pack sales. Despite this game being designed around having multiple characters/alts, this $100 pack is BOUND to only ONE character. And if you decide later on that the character you redeemed it on is not the one for you, "TOO BAD" is the response I got from Amazon AND Smilegate RPG. They've announced a poorly designed "band-aid" fix requiring you to throw out your progress on one server and switch to another to redeem a '2nd' founder's pack. And those of you who purchase the pack after I've written this post, "TOO BAD", you're out of time to have been able to qualify for a "2nd" pack.

This sale is misleading and a borderline scam.

The Dev team was actually very quick to respond and fix this problem, contacting me personally to help make sure I got the product. Well done.

(DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT THROUGH STEAM. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT. I love this game so far. But there has been ZERO response from the dev team regarding this issue. Devs stated "At the moment, we favor the approach of DLC bundles to bolster our visibility on Steam" yet you do not get what you purchase through steam.)

GTFO is a hardcore FPS/Hack and Slash/Shoot 'em up game. This game does require others to play with. You can typically manage the first level or two with just bots, but the deeper you go, the more sophisticated your objectives become. There is a GTFO discord filled with other solo and duo players looking for new and veteran players to join. This game is DIFFICULT. There is a checkpoint system implemented but they're reserved until after you've completed a series of difficult tasks and are only there because you have even harder tasks ahead. You and your team need to plan your route, use the very neat terminal system to find your supplies and your way. You have to think logistically, always thinking ahead. "Do we use a bunch of our tool ammo now to secure these doors for an alarm? Or do we just shoot our way through because there might be a bigger alarm later."

There will come the time when all you have is a single mag and an array of KIA tags on your team's status, with the howl of the hoard close on your tail and the mission objective in your hands.

I've been following the development of this game for a couple months now, and for the past week I've been playing the pre-release version of the game. The game is absolutely fantastic for the small scale PVPVE style they were going for. The execution of the PVE objective-based play style against an enemy team of players is not a totally new concept, but this is one of the few published titles that executed it well. There are of course early release bugs, and definitely some balancing issues, but with out forthcoming and open the developers have been with the community and their response time has been admirable, and I look forward to seeing the products from the Year 1 road map they released yesterday. I would 100% suggest you at least give the game a buy and a try.

Finally, a John Wick simulator without dying puppies.

Okay... felt the need to write this review, first I've done.

I feel, that so far the game is fantastic.
I just finished the campaign and really... it just moved me. Now you have all these kids on here putting reviews up and saying many things, like, the Germans didn't use Russian Weapons, they gave into SJW issues and replaced the swastika.

Okay... first off, Germans requsitioned Russian weapons around 1944, after the majority of their weapon factories had been bombed. Second. They used the Iron Cross as a symbol over their flags in addition to using the swastika. (Yes, the game still has swastikas. But all that aside, I'm a huge WW2 fanatic, and the story, and gameplay was breathtaking.

Aside from, graphics are incredible. Forewarning though!!!! I ran this game with 8 gb of RAM. Had to run it on low settings, and still got frame studder, or freezes. But! The game looked amazing anyway. If you have 16 gb of RAM and at the least a GTX 900s series, you'll run this fine.

Zombies: Meh, had some fun, don't have friends to play with. But there's so much to explore in the new mode.

Multiplayer: What did I expect? A Infinite Warefare style experiance. I was honestly suprised, it felt like to me the game returned to some of their old COD 4 and W@W roots. This is the first game since COD W@W that I just love the multiplayer in, I cannot get enough!
