A decent game. Somewhat good but not great. Decently enjoyable if you haven't played a Spider-Man title in a while but definitely not worth it at full price. Combat and traversal are upgraded from the previous games so from a gameplay standpoint it is good. Story in my opinion is where things fall off hard. Story is too generic (something akin to a low tier Marvel movie). Also certain arcs seem super rushed (won't say which to avoid spoilers). The game also felt super short compared to other Spider-Man titles and the open world features were also lacking. Again, it's a decent game if you got it at a good price (30% off or more) but really not anything memorable in my opinion. Pick it up on a sale if you want a Spider-Man game to swing around and fight in.

Also side note: now that Play-Station is going back to exclusives this might be the last Spider-Man game on PC. To better understand my rating of the game, I'd say this: I don't really mind it if other Play-Station Studio games don't come to PC since the quality of this game and other games on the PS overall don't really make it seem like I will be missing out on much. Also the port for this game was kind of buns too.

Got it on sale. Played for a couple hours. Casual for a bit then ran into the average sweaty killer or 4 stack survivors. Got bored. Uninstalled. Now leaving a review for the next poor soul thinking of trying this game because it's on sale and people describe it as a "classic". Just spend that cash on literally anything else. Garbage!

Writing was awful. Plot was predictable. Gameplay was boring. QTEs were janky. All this led to an awful playthrough. Replayability is locked behind a chapter select where you lose your progress made in the following chapters. All stuck on one save file. All this leads up to an experience I would describe as nothing more than...

Didn't take an hour of playtime to see that this is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ poor man's version of Smash. I'll pass.

A wonderful and impactful story about family, grief, truth, lies, and coming to terms with loss. The characters, dialogue, and voice acting feel real with genuine personality. The gameplay is really well done with the turn based system incorporating real time dodging, jumping, and parrying into the mix. Good enemy variety and insanely spectacular bosses. The game is appropriate in length with additional bonus side content and end game areas for those who are interested beyond the main story. The visuals and locations are phenomenal and very atmospheric. Music is stellar. Overall worthy of game of the year. For those who come after, and for those who came before. Tomorrow comes.

Anime rhythm game! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Better of the two Telltale Batman games. I enjoyed the story and the consequences of my choices more in this installment of the series. I liked the different chapter paths based on how you act to a certain character. Also the final choice is a very bold one. Not how I would of ended the game but it does provide some closure depending on your perspective. Worth the price on a sale overall.

Good story driven game on a sale. I liked the use of the Batman IP but some aspects of the game were a bit slow. Overall it's a decent game to buy on a sale. Hopefully the sequel is a bit better. In short, I would recommend the game at a discounted price if you are into Batman and Telltale style games.
