Noita, Hades, CrossCode... Now Valheim has joined the strongest greats of the last few years for me. It needs friends to make great, but in my heart it earns the spot as a game that stays true and pure. I hope the few future updates polish it up nicely and it makes a solid landing out of early access - good job, Iron Gate.

My Ex told me years ago that Terraria was way better than Minecraft and argued for several months on and off that Minecraft is a game for autistic children.

Turns out, they were autistic. True story.
They have nothing in common outside of blocks, there's that too.

I turned my friend's beautiful treehouse into a Pizza Hut overnight while they slept. That was pretty good too.

What am I doing with my life

Cheaters. Just like every mishandled FPS in the last forever it's ruined by manchildren and trolls unable to see past their own irony. I can't even host my own server, or start a community/assign admins to kick cheaters, you can only rent very limited servers. Some hackers trolling in chat have been cheating since the day of release and are known across forums. I've reported several blatant server-destroying hackers but none have been banned. There is no customer support, no administration, $0 in upkeep on this dead as hell game.

It plays nice, it looks nice, weapons are vaguely balanced, classes make sense... None of that matters, it all falls down when 25% of games have some douche messing it up.

AAA games are a joke, EA is dead, DICE has buried itself. Gamers are apathetic and misguided, this is the result of decades of accepting the ♥♥♥♥ being shoveled out by these companies.
