Good game, WoW without all the extra ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Endgame is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, all it is is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no jobs camping every farm spot in the deep desert. Realize who your playerbase is and fix this ♥♥♥♥ before the game is dead within 6 months.

Try not to starve to death simulator, what overly tuned for no reason pile of ♥♥♥♥. I just love artificial difficulty and time wasting mechanics pumped into my games...

Lost 90+ hours of work because the cloud saves just don't work apparently, figure out your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ save system.

The story and early game difficulty is far over tuned and you HAVE to use type advantage to advance or spend absurd amounts of time grinding to use the Tems you actually like, forcing you into using ♥♥♥♥ you honestly just don't want to use.

Competitive move sets and type difference shouldn't be much of a factor in the early stages of a game like this imo, maybe it's more fun once you reach the endgame but getting there is just such a pain in the ass I don't know that it's even worth it.

If competitive pokemon is your thing you'll probably like this game for a while, then you realize the evolution system is trash, forcing you to breed. So essentially anything you catch is just fodder to breed until it can't anymore then release. Also there's the overly time consuming breeding system that you have to farm ♥♥♥♥ for in order to get perfect values in order to be competitive (cause that's so much fun).

Wish I didn't waste the money.

Edit: Just saw another review that summed it up pretty well. "Slower more grindy pokemon" and that's exactly what it is.

Aside from the expected day 1 crashes I'm thoroughly enjoying every aspect of this game so far. So many different play style options just within the 1 class I've played so far.

If you're a fan of the series already it won't disappoint. Ridiculous amount of content for the price, especially if you got it while it was on sale.
