Its unfortunately not what I expected. It seems to be mostly driving, looting and crafting in a roguelite runs structure -- unfortunately I don't think the driving, looting, or crafting are much fun, and the story (delivered through one way radio communications) isn't doing anything for me.

A genuinely charming temple exploring puzzle adventure. The puzzle mechanic with lights and mirrors is intuitive without being boring, and the vibes are immaculate. This game surprised me and I'm looking forward to more!

Really, really, really good. The writing is fantastic, better than the movies even. The banter between the characters is awesome, I loved spending time with them. The graphics are amazing, super beautiful game technically and aesthetically. Great story, and the gameplay is fun. Super highly recommend.

A very good romp, borrowing pieces from a bunch of other great games, and landing somewhere pretty solid. Imagine Uncharted with Soulsborne combat and Metroidvania style world design, and then slap a satisfying coat of Star Wars paint on it. It starts VERY strong, slows a little in the early middle, but recovers in the back half for a FANTASTIC experience. It's not perfect, but it has its moments, and I'm personally excited to see how they'll refine it in the sequel.

Works great and looks beautiful at 32:9 super ultrawide resolution. Cutscenes are 16:9 but oh well.

- do the cowboy pew pews in a demon swamp with the bois
- surprisingly forgiving for the extraction genre (revives)
- beautifully rendered horror
- continued support with fixes and content 4+ years later
- gun porn

It's short and sweet, definitely worth the time I spent with it:
- play as a cat
- dedicated meow button
- absolutely beautiful aesthetically and technically
- surprisingly emotional story
- exploration is fun and rewarding

I enjoyed my time with it. 14 hours for my relatively straight b-line through the critical path. I think you could pad that out to 20 doing more side content, and maybe 30 for a 100% run. It is totally a ubisoft open world, but I think it maps well enough, and finds sometimes clever ways of tweaking the formula. Its probably not going to blow your mind, but I think most people will find something to like about it.

The good:
- Open World FPS (pretty unique)
- Modern day Tokyo is a banger of a setting
- Spooky spirits and flashy elemental magic combat
- Lots of nice Japanese culture treats to discover
- Super pretty and runs well (3080, 3600, 5120x1440, high [no rt], ~120fps)
- Supports DLSS and the AMD variant
- Supports super ultrawide aspect ratio (32:9)

The not as good:
- Raytracing features tanked my framerate (on a 3080) but didn't provide much of a benefit from what I noticed
- The last hour or two fell kinda flat for me, but endings are hard

You're probably going to suck at this game for a while, 10+ hours, but if you choose a balanced weapon like the longsword on the knight class and stick with it, muscle memory will kick in and you'll be effortlessly immersed in the ultimate grounded medieval combat fantasy.

I love this game. Its all the best innovations of the battlefield franchise with none of the garbage, great medieval themeing, and the best sword combat mechanics I can imagine in a multiplayer game. The extrinsic progression rewards are mostly cosmetic, and the ones that aren't do not feel limiting due to the strong default classes.

I'm terrible at this game, but I'm getting better, and when a skilled player takes out me and 5 other players, I'm not mad, I'm just impressed.

Really looking forward to sinking in many more hours in to this game. I hope it continues to receive support for a long time.

This is a game about competitive cooperation, and *must* be played with friends (either in meatspace, or with voip) in order to get the full experience. It might not be the "next big game", but that's clearly not what it set out to be. The game is an absolute blast (with friends), and provides great value (especially if you grab a 4-pack).
