This is a very badly optimized game. I own the original copies from twenty years ago and they run about several hundred times smoother. The only reason I even play this game is because there are a number of optimizations that went into gameplay instead of graphics, which I could only have with mods otherwise. Mods aren't all that supportive of multiplayer.

2/10, you butchered one of my favorite games... again.

You can get your brain to make the happy chemicals.
10/10 would get the quest mobs stolen again.

One of the only games I accept being a n00b at. Still, this is a good game for killing friendships if none of you can say: "Hey bro, we suck. Just play for the lulz."
Do that and you will have a better time playing this game.

Why do I always get sacrificed as Bill?

Anyways, please buy this game so Volvo can pocket your money.
Also, download mods because having Shrek charge you is always better.
Friends are also recommended.

I was going to downvote it but the correct path would be the solid midway. For now, an upvote.
Just wat teh fuq.

Since I have only a few hours in the game I could wait a bit with this review, but the game can be downloaded now for free, which means the playerbase got a chance to grow.
I have started playing this game yesterday and it almost made me ragequit at least 5 times. Despite this, I believe this is a fantastic game that deserves to be played with friends. (I am talking about 4 people. Alone, you worth almost nothing.)
We have yet to try the actual PvP mode of the game but since our little circle was never about competitive gaming we are not likely to do so for now.
The problems we experienced came from our lack of knowledge about the game. For example, you can not actually choose the ship you use the way we have imagined, along with starting a casual/custom PvE game.
Start playing folks, this game is a must-play. Never have I, or my firends seen such a game as this. Complicated yet understandable, hard yet enjoyable, PvP yet PvE.
Come and become steampunk pirates!

I have some sort of rendering issue... Still, I enjoyed the 50 minutes we spent solving puzzles.

I recommend trying it out at least once.
