At first when I heard about this game I was sceptical. I felt justified in the furore that followed the release, but over time, the news I heard, which goes with my experience, is that this is a constantly evolving game that is loved by its' developers, who have pretty much addressed every promise made, or are actively in the process.

This game is a dream to play single player, a nice escapist world where not everything is about shooting, it's a pleasure to explore and find things out, this is at 200 h, which considering the much more reasonable price, I find excellent value for money already, and therefore am happy to recommend.

I heard it was the spiritual successor to baldurs gate 2. I went back and played baldurs gate II remastered, and my childhood dreams were shattered by the reality of the dated interface, UI, and story.

This is the game I wanted to play after BG2, It's been very pleasurable. definitely recommend on the above basis, you know the type of thing you're getting and it's oh so good.

After over 10000 hours of play time. I recommend this to anyone looking to lose almost a year of their life. The base game is one thing, it's a nice engine, but that's not the game, the mods, THE MODS! oh my god, the ultimate number of options, whether it be for just giving yourself everything and cheesing it all the way, or dropping yourself naked on an iceshelf and being chased by zombies over half of creation.

I never refer to the game by name. it's always called ants. because it mostly reminds me of an antfarm. The worst thing about the game is the name, which makes others think you're playing something that should probably be 18+

add to this the multi platform compatibility, the cloud synch'd saved games. And despite the impression from the graphics, this is a very polished product, I am proud to have bought

Simple. Low spec. Highly addictive. I recommend this for hours of repeated short burst play. Perfect while your MMO is in downtime, or for a quick romp.
