This game use to be amazing before gameforge took over EU and made it pay2win lack of ppl now for mmo there aren't that many of them also this game is PvP if you looking for PvE/Story based mmo I reccomend WOW. Aion has the best PvP combat system I ever seen but the pay2win system ruined it back in 2009 all you had to do was play 2-3 hours a day and in few months u were beast in PvP. Now u have to pay minimum 2-3k Euros to get to the competitive stage of the PvP also arenas are really bad healers/tank are OP in them worldwide PvP well it's a zergfest usualy you will get jumped by 5-10 ppl and they will rape ya in seconds. Idea of the MMO was good but furute patches destroyed the game and the state of the game right now is, that is not worth to play it lack of players and pay2win mechanics ruined this amazing game :)
