I am reviewing this game in the "Early Access" state, a day before the game comes out.

This game's "Main Game" includes all the levels from SMB1 and SMB2, most of them are unaltered, while some have been slightly modified for reduced difficulty (or branding issues).

One big change that was made is the removal of lives, you can play through challenge mode without worrying about lives or continues, and the "Extra" stages are unlocked by not using the "Assist Mode". A weird change if you ask me, but a welcome one for casual players, in fact, it has helped me get through the Master Stages without having to replay the same levels again and again and again.

You can use a Mayflash GameCube Controller Adapter in "PC" Mode, you will have to adjust the deadzones in the Steam Controller Configuration, or you can download my community profile "Mayflash Adapter Deadzone Fix". I also recommend putting the Camera Sensitivity in-game to 1 or 2 to make it feel more like the GameCube controls.

One major flaw that cannot be overlooked is the mini games. Monkey Target is unplayable in its current state, and plenty of the mini games just feel off... They really messed with the physics and most of them feel incomplete. Some are fine, Monkey Billiards feels the most correct to me so far.

Another criticism I have is that there's NO Multi-player for challenge mode (not even local Multi-player!) and there is absolutely no online Multi-player AT ALL! Missed opportunity here, very disappointed.

The alternative game-modes like "Golden Banana Mode" are fun, my favorite mode so far is "Dark Banana Mode" where touching bananas kill you, very fun

Graphics are good, music is good, if you're a fan of the older Monkey Ball titles I would recommend the Deluxe Edition, as it includes the old soundtrack and retro character skins.

The customization and unlockable characters are cool if you're into that.

Overall, if you're looking to play this game strictly for the Challenge Mode levels, you will be satisfied. If you're looking to play mini games, I would skip this and just dig out the old GameCube or use Dolphin (at least with Dolphin you can have online play ;P ) Maybe they can add these fixes/features down the line and maybe even add workshop support, then this game would be perfect.

This game is better than CS:GO, your bullets ACTUALLY hit the enemy when you shoot at them :)

This game owns... It is such a simple concept that was executed near-perfectly.

Pros:
Great Gameplay, simple and addicting.
Easy to run, game runs flawlessly on an RX580, no hitches/stutter/lag on unmodded game.
Easy to learn, I was able to start doing Expert+ songs in the matter of hours!
Excellent Room Adjust Options, you can change the entire room position however you want!

Cons:
The ONLY gripe I have with this game is the lack of content that comes with the base game. If you want more songs you'll need to:
1. Custom Community Songs made by talented mappers that push the game's limits
2. Buy the DLC @ $2 a song... that aren't even mapped that well...

I'm sure the majority of you already know the correct answer...

I really like the mods that were made for this game, but it's really hard to keep using mods when this game updates so frequently (not complaining about the updates, just throwing it out there)

I give this game overall 8.5/10, because the community picks up the slack, making it a great experience.

I recommend it to anyone with a VR setup!

Ok. The game is free, but even so, I would much rather something like this be released more polished, even if it did cost a few dollars. Whoever dumped money into making this pile of crap should really get a better financial advisor. I couldn't stand playing it after 10 mins. Controlling the character is a complete mess, and the web swinging has no form of momentum whatsoever and it really breaks immersion (apart from it's camera control flaws, that break immersion in-itself). If you're looking at this, don't even waste your storage space, bandwidth, or time.

The game is fun, and if it's not fun, then why bother?

Streets 5 is a fantastic game. Good mechanics, visuals, the works.

I can't help but feel disappointed though. I hate seeing fighting games with season passes, the game is already expensive enough, there's no reason to charge more for DLC, other than to manipulate their consumers who will buy it anyway :(

Without a sale, SFV costs about $70 for the deluxe edition, which is crazy and sad to me. SFIV has a much bigger roster and I picked the whole package up for $15, now that's a good deal! I just wish we can go back to the days where unlocking characters with story progression was the norm, instead of spending an extra $30 on DLC.

Please Capcom, Nintendo, Namco, WB Games. Please take a step back, and do things the way you used to. Maybe you'll have more positive reviews...

In conclusion, if the arcade edition is on sale, get it. Avoid Season 3 Pass. And please fix your sh*t Capcom.

This is a game that you can play on your phone. I'm not going to cry about it because I got it for a dollar, but the game is way too simple to be enjoyable to an average PC gamer. Also, that soundtrack is suicide inducing. I've read comments about this game being stolen and I wouldn't be surprised if they were correct about that.

This is not a joke, I actually enjoy this game, the lack of gameplay forces you to be on point with the little gameplay there actually is, making it very fun and competitive.
