The UI needs SERIOUS work, but if the game gets smoothed out it'll be pretty fun and unique, at it stands charging 30$ for what feels like the pre-alpha of a game is criminal

Do you enjoy dying because you forgot to bring an antidote? Too bad, you can't PROPERLY die in this game, go next.

The dev seems active, and while very much EA it's good

This game is in an unexplored genre where you build a base you must defend, but can also take direct action in combat. I quite like it, and despite having rather simple graphics, it does its gameplay far better than the other titles attempting the same concept that I've encountered.

If you like turn based games feel free to pick it up. I personally didn't know they changed the combat to be turn based, which just felt so out of place with what I expected from a Yakuza game. I kept trying to give it a chance to grow on me, however running past enemies doesn't work like in previous titles, so you'll be fighting a lot. The more I had the turn based combat system shoved in my face because I didn't want to run around half the city to avoid fighting people, the more I disliked it. It still has the Yakuza charm of side quests being incredibly goofy and the main quest does look fairly interesting, if not overly similar to the first game. Sadly I kept giving it a chance for too long, so I have now spent 100$ I can't get back on a game I will likely only play for 7 hours, but I can see people that aren't as bothered by the combat system change liking it.
