Have you ever played a FromSoft game and enjoyed it? Yes? Then you'll love the game. The only reason the game has Mixed reviews at the time of writing is due to performance issues, which every FromSoft title has had at launch. They've already announced they're working on it, and there's already a few temporary community fixes while you wait.

I spent $1 back on the 360 to play this game, and have WAY too many hours in it back then for how far I got. I can tell my gaming skills have improved since then as I was actually able to get significantly further than I ever had back in those days. Would still gladly spend $1 again, but this hit me right in the nostalgia. 10/10 will play again.

This is a surprisingly in-depth idle game. While you can leave it open for Combat, which is best especially at the beginning, later you can get to the point where you have enough food to just let your character fight for days on end. I only have so many hours as at one point, combat was not an idle action and you HAD to have the game open, but I don't regret my hours at all.

I got a ball
I got a monkey
UHH
Monkey Ball!

Is my joke outdated? Yes. Does it change the fact the game is an enjoyable experience for anyone who played Monkey Ball as a child? Maybe, but that's up to you to decide. I will recommend what everyone has said though and go into the steam controller settings and set the controller to a square deadzone, as this makes it 1000000x easier to control. Other than this issue (With a relatively simple solution), it's Monkey Ball. It's that game from your childhood you spent god knows how long getting pissed off because the damn monkey wouldn't go into the goal. STFU and give it your money you adult man/woman-child.

Early Access Review
I received this game for free as I was streaming Dwarf Fortress, the developer saw and sent me a key; thus I had no obligation, monetary or otherwise, to play even 30 mins of the game let alone the 9 hours at time of this review.

The game is actually quite solidly made and gets regular updates. While it isn't perfect, to my understanding it's all made by one guy so taking that into consideration I've played games like it made by a team with less polish and thought put into the gameplay. While it is entirely text-based and takes a but to figure everything out, once you figure out everything it's a fun game with tons of replayability. I would recommend waiting for a sale or the developer to drop the price to $5 rather than the $8 asking price if you're on the fence about it, HOWEVER if you absolutely love the idea and premise behind the game it's certainly worth the $8 asking price. Also keep in mind the game is in Early Access and so it will change regularly and DOES have it's share of bugs, however in my 9 hours of playtime I haven't encountered any truly game breaking bugs.

Went into first person on accident while trying to go into slow motion, proceeded to go in slow motion while still in first person, started diving and shot someone in the head with a machine gun, flipped off a wall and threw a grenade which killed two more people, slow motion ended, proceeded to dive off a building and kill one more person right before getting shot in the face and getting killed by them. Michael Bay Simulator 2014 GOTY 11/10 would dive in slow motion again

There's a lot that can be said about this software, some good and some bad. So I'm going to list the Pros and Cons of the software as well as a tl;dr at the bottom.

Pros:
The wrap-around feature which is surprisingly well implemented and easy to use
The brushes are well done and almost any brush you'd need for a drawing or painting is already implemented
If a brush you need is not implemented you can tweak every brush to your hearts content and save it as a preset
The perspective grid is easily created and edited to create near perfect perspective drawings
Photoshop-like layers which will make any photoshop user feel right at home
Excellent developer response (Read below if you want more information)
Don't have enough money to buy Krita Gemini? Go to their site and get the free Krita Desktop, same software almost except no Steam support and a few features aren't there but other than that the same thing but free. (But buy Krita Gemini as soon as you have enough money)

Cons:
Unable to animate within application
Small images sometimes don't work (For example 128x128 px)
Too many pros, not enough cons.

Developer Response:
I'm the only person having the problem in the cons list and they responded and talked to me one on one on steam in order to understand the problem so they can try and fix it ASAP. It's like everyone is having the problem and they want to fix it quickly. GREAT developer response and I think better than what I've ever seen in my entire life. Sure it took a few days for them to actually see my review but I'd rather wait a few days and get this kind of customer service than wait a few days and they do nothing or not even get a response in general.

Edit:
Figured out how to use pen pressure, I guess my tablet was just screwing up so NOT THE PROGRAMS FAULT. With pen pressure lines are AMAZINGLY smooth and I'm beginning to like this program more than Photoshop as it's MUCH cheaper and just runs better in general.

Tldr; Excellent customer service, excellent tools, and professional brushes make this an EXCELLENT buy.

It's an okay learning software. Most of the items are duplicates though you can open drawers and doors and such, but no way to see the outside world. You're confined to an apartment and most words are ones you can easily learn on a site such as memrise.com. Cheaper than Rosetta Stone and a lot more fun, however when you're confined to an apartment you can't learn much besides what's inside an apartment. Quite boring to be honest and while it may be great for a beginner learner, it's not as great for one who has spent time learning a lanauge and wish to use this to refine your language skills.
