Going hitless through the entire game just to die to Hand of the King in like 20 seconds flat should earn this game the psychological horror tag..

Shoot at cowboys and miss your shots. Throw dynamite and blow yourself up. Game is great and yee's my haw.

I'll start off just saying it how it is, Hunt: Showdown is one of the most underrated multiplayer shooters out there. A unique PvP experience that shares commonalities with Escape from Tarkov and more grounded Battle Royale games, yet plays unlike any of them.

You are placed in to the shoes of a "Hunter" in the late 1800s/early 1900s stalking through the Louisiana Bayou seeking to vanquish one or two dangerous creatures known as "Bounties", scouring the map for clues to locate them and ultimately defeating them. After this you then just need to grab the proof you killed them, and leave the map. Simple right? Well... You are not the only Hunters seeking the prize. Each map is littered with zombies, demonic hounds & giant leech men. As well as up to 12 other players, ranging from solos to teams of duos & trios, all looking to take this prize for their own. This setup leads to some of the most tension filled multiplayer games around, I could gush for pages about why this is, so instead of that here's what I think contributes to this. You can take these as a list of my personal pros as well:Precision weapons only! No full-auto weapons here (barring one borderline joke weapon), in fact there are barely any semi-auto weapons, just a few pistols and a shotgun. Each shot you fire has an associated downtime, whether that is cocking the hammer back, swinging the lever or pumping the next round in to the chamber, not just when you reload!

Sound is everything in this game and listening for a distant murder of crows being disturbed, or discerning footprints outside the building your in. Not only do these keep you immersed in the experience but they also become another set of tools for you to track enemy players, although sound is important in most competitive games - Hunt Showdown is a real step above the competition.

The Maps themselves are fairly big, but not so large they are a slog to navigate and are mainly focused around named locations anyway. Each of these locations could be a map in it's own right, so matches feel fresh & unique even if you end up queuing for the same one twice in a row.

Progression is satisfying and has multiple layers. You will unlock new weapons & perks to purchase fairly often via your "Bloodline Rank" which is your overall level, while your individual hunters will also gain levels allowing you to purchase the perks. But then each weapon & tools have their own XP thresholds, allowing you to unlock variants, ammo types & new items altogether. The game does a fantastic job at drip feeding that dopamine rush as a result. And when you have reached max bloodline, you can Prestige and start it all again! You get some minor rewards for doing this, but nothing game changing - purely cosmetic skins... Which brings me to the only con I really have...

Microtransactions, yes there is a premium currency (Bloodbonds) in this game as well as paid DLC for skins (via the steam store). But, I actually think this is one of the better examples for two reasons. The first is you will earn a fair few Bloodbonds each game, I easily get 20 to 50 a match and legendary skins range from 200 to 700 (for Legendary Hunters). Secondly, if you Prestige you get the option to roll for a random legendary each time and with 100 levels of Prestige, that's a fair few chances to get something you would use. With all the above in mind, I can fully recommend this game for anyone who likes their multiplayer FPS games with a more unique flavour that stays faithful to what makes it this way. Fully recommended

Eastward is not only an RPG, it's a work of Art, believe me. The game works your emotions more than your favorite song, your favorite piece of art, your favorite sunrise spot, and your childhood home combined. One of the most gorgeous pixel art, 16 bits inspired, graphics used in a modern game. The sprites are rich and detailed, the backgrounds makes you want to explore what you can just so you can see them in more detail. The soundtrack Is AMAZING. I enjoyed it from start-to-finish.

The gameplay is simple and reminiscent of classic The Legend of Zelda era: John can use his pan as Link used his sword while also having your trusty bombs for damaging both monsters and walls/obstacles. You can then control Sam, which starts with a power that stuns also similar to Link's boomerang, changing between characters adds a bit of depth with puzzles that separates our duo or just to overcome character-specific obstacles. That are power ups and upgrades. Some bosses can feel less challenging than some everyday monsters.

You can cook food, for healing and buffs, collect ingredients and recipes. The slot-machine mini-game, which can result on bonus food quality, combined with the food animation does feel out of place and unnecessary long, especially since you can't skip the animation until after you learn the recipe.

The writing reminds me of games from the SNES era like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy or EarthBound. That's to say that some jokes while amusing can be a hit or miss. There is a lot of long cutscenes/exposition that due to characters voices being done the old way, by sound tones, can feel a bit drag out. The story feels familiar but still interesting and mysterious enough to be engaging.

Oh, I almost forgot, this game gives you a sense of belonging, a sense of urgency that where you are wont be there forever so make sure you make your days count, an unwavering feeling of warmth, even in the most dire situations where it's life or death. Eastward makes you feel purpose even in the smallest things, but those small things come together to build the most beautiful game and experience.

Overall, its a MUST play for lovers of the NES/SNES era, an instant classic and a contender for, at very least, indie game of the year.

Bel gioco, un mix tra animal crossing e spirit farer.

My new ritual before sleeping.

And yeah, the game runs in real time, does nobody read the store page before buying? Geez. Anyway, This is the most adorable game you'll ever play. The graphics, the music, everything oozes cuteness.

The most obvious comparison is of course to Animal Crossing, but since this is a PC store, I'll avoid comparisons to a Nintendo-exclusive title, and maybe point you in the direction of The Longing. If you enjoyed The Longing, you'll probably enjoy this.

It's certainly not for everyone - if you only care about high-octane, Game-Awards-trailers games (if you know what I mean), this is not for you. It's a game you play while you listen to a podcast, or catch up with the news on YouTube in a second monitor. But high-octane, shoot-people-in-the-face games, as fun as they can be, are a dime a dozen. This is something unique.

Wouldn't it be amazing to just have a nice, chill, wholesome game that makes you feel good every second you're playing it?

This is that game.

This game is a piece of art. The gameplay is fun and force you to have a different approach with each family member. You ever get in so deep it's like you pull yourself in another world where you feel your the actual character going on adventures and conquering to fight.

So, more than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. World deserves more games like Children of Morta.

Dios mío this is gonna be a looong one.. I mean, extremely hard, even on easy.

The cult classic sci-fi horror, immersive, brilliant rpg-fps has borned. Do you really need me to convince you to play System Shock?

If so, never speak to me. Ever.

Btw if you're goin' to play this game for the first time, don't watch the trailer on steam 'cuz it spoils one of the biggest reveals of the game. Just ignore it.

Yeah, this game.. this marvelous game.. This game will make you laugh, make you cry, make you run to your mummy, give you goosebumps.. But most important of all.. This game will give you DETERMINATION.

This babe is more than a game.. It's an experience.

You don't play this game, game plays you.

In short, Undertale kicked my ass in 2015 and I still can't forget.
