Quern is a very good game, and a worthy successor to Myst.

The puzzles were shockingly well designed where, when approaching a new puzzle, I felt intimidated by its apparent complexity but then found myself very naturally playing with it until I figured it out.

While the story/lore isn't the most complex or deep, it was enough to help motivate me to keep going and well put together considering the scope of the game. I can't think of any obvious plot holes, and discussing the nuances of the plot with other people was fun.

The soundtrack is also surprisingly pleasant. This is one of the few times where I find myself considering actually buying the OST.

I am very much looking forward to Dimhaven ;)
