Starts a little slow, then you can get into the meat n taters of this vidya. Just know unless u have cutting edge cpu/gpu, this game will not run amazing unless you run DLSS 3.5 Frame Generation mod or wait for similar in FSR3 to be patched in by Bethesda.

This is peak Todd game

Promising base to build upon. Game has been re-written from the ground up to support future features. Following in the footsteps of the original KSP using Early Access to gain mass bug and player feedback to improve the experience.

To note on the launch patch: The performance regardless of what specs you have will not be smooth regardless of what you do as there are likely some shader/physics adjustments needed to optimise balance between gameplay and performance.

My only "cons" would be initial pricing and praying they implement options to the VAB camera control scheme and HUD placement.

Good except with Logitech G29 it's pretty difficult with the crap brake pedal and lack of FFB nearly any in game.

EDIT: had to download an external file to make FFB work correctly

Pros
-Game is about 1 Gigabyte with creative art style that manages to look amazing
-Day/Night cycle
-Soundtrack doesn't get old
-Full of surprises
-Procedural generated map
-Multiplayer
-Helpful tutorial bits placed around that aren't in your face
-Only about 8hrs into the game and one boss in, many more hours to come :)

Suggestions
-Horses or something similar to tame/ride would help instead of having to multi-base for certain scenarios
-Could have a book or the crow tell you hints about where to progress next (in terms of where to find Smelter mats)
-Add way to path tamed animals to player base
-First person for bow possibly?

-Bows feel a bit crap
-Boar taming feels very long
