Arc Raiders is absolutely has a wonderful game and potential in the future moving forward. I will advise anyone who plays this game and views friendly videos on socials it is a total gamble on the lobby you get into. Some lobbies are a collective work of friends who all go after ARC's and some are full of rats and want to ambush and PvP you. There is also the frustrating situation of you brining in high end gear and getting 3rd partied by people before you even kill anything or loot anything. The biggest concern for this game and longevity will be that PvP will create a toxic community for only those to enjoy and don't have any concerns over going after ARC. Slowly the PvE focused players will fall off due to resentment of the game and they will leave. (This has happened in ever Extraction Shooter to date). This will leave the community with large whole and a drop in player base. Look at how successful Escape from Tarkov was and is still to this day. Eventually they allowed a separate character with turned down loot tables to help those who casually game still play the game. You don't have worry about exploits, cheaters. This could be easily implemented to save for the players who are more PvE focused and don't want to sweat their ass off to play a couple hours a week and enjoy the grind as well. Although, I will admit ARC Raiders is definitely much much easier and more forgiving it than Tarkov in many aspects. The Idea Embark Studios stated the main focus of the game was PvE with elements of PvP really do not support their stance on the current version of the game. There is no incentive not to PvP. If you are a passive player please reconsider your purchase until the developers at Embark Studios provide a PvE focused servers or raids because this game is definitely on the PvP hype train. Its going to slowly erode the community. I love this game and want to see it survive but If I am honest everyone is already over the unbalanced weapons, exploits, and dealing with the people who can play 15 hours a day and not hold a job. I will be giving this a game a negative review until there is a PvE mode for my everyone who just enjoy a casual game to play. The loop of the game is awesome, the forgiveness of the game is good, just give the average gamer the decision to play how they want.

I wanted to share my thoughts on GZW. I play exclusively PVE so my take of the game will reflect that. I think many of the community wants performance to be improved we are well into a year into development and honestly I have to use frame gen to get good solid frames to mitigate the dips. Performance is very spotty and honestly very unreliable. You just do not know when the game will dip to 20 FPS then back to 150 FPS. AI behavior even a year later enemies are still spongy and soak rounds without wearing body armor. AI is still often very much "aim botty" and will engage you through bushes prior to you even being able to see them.

My personal opinion is this game copied everything from Tarkov (aside from infill and exfil) to compete with it and had zero plan to adjust. The game is now being marketed as not an extraction shooter that we were initially told. Here is the thing, PVE players many want a casual experience. I want to come home to run tasks with the bois and not stress over some super turned up AI with millisecond reflexes. I do want a challenge but balance is definitely needed and AI needs to be deeply tested as the amount of round to kill an enemy can be anywhere from 1-30 rounds. You just never know. So if you want to take out guys together with your team one person may be lucky to kill the enemy with 1 round and your other friend has to mag dump a guy wear nothing but sandals and a t-shirt.

This game NEEDS optimization heavily and if you do not have a decent rig you will suffer in game when you need those seconds to act. Without the optimization this game will die. People want to credit new player number due to the update come back in 3 weeks to see where they are. Content should be the last thing added to this game IMO. This whole last year should've been sole focusing on getting this game where it should've released in EA.

Not gonna lie, I wont discredit the new update as an improvement of the development, but I think this game is relying to much on content creators for hype. The fact that the game is in this state right now makes me kinda sad its a good game but its a chore to load in and feel your getting what you paid for. Please focus on optimization over everything or the game will die.

I say this as I purchased the supporter edition of the game. I love this game and want to see it improve. My opinion is just one, but I think many people feel the same. If you have the money get the game if your interested but don't be shocked to have a frustrating experience in the game.

TLDR: performance is rough, AI is rough, weather system is a plus, lots of odd priorities for develop given the games state.

MADFINGER Games is the only one who can listen to the community and make the changes needed to make this game great.

If you love cats. Love solving puzzles. You owe it to yourself. Do yourself a favor this is such a simple yet ground breaking game. I love it. I Honestly didn't expect this game to feel and look so good. I was blown away by everything and the story is amazing and one for the books. One of the best games of 2022.

PS. You can meow at any given time constantly by pressing a button.
