Save your time, your money, and buy Baldur's Gate or Cyberpunk instead. NPCs have less reaction to whatever you do than Oblivion NPCs and are even more lifeless than them. The gunplay has no punch to it like it should in a modern shoot 'n loot. Exploring is the weakest in this game out of all BGS titles, you will find the same exact layout in every research tower, cryolab, and other types of points of interest anywhere in the galaxy that makes it the same exact experience every time.

There are also no alien babes, which is their greatest sin.

The game is worth it alone for the Old World Blues mod that provides a look into the Fallout universe. If you ever wanted to be so true to Caesar that you unify the map under the Legion or to make the Enclave great again, this is a good game.

The base game is also very entertaining whether you go down the normal routes of history or go outside of the norm and see to it that the timeline diverges from our own.

Cavalry makes an otherwise good game hard to enjoy.

You start off the game by getting shot in the face by one of the casino family heads and wake up in the house of a doctor out in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing except your persistance, grit, and wit. Have fun!
