I finished this on Epic and got the Steam copy with a new graphics card.

I ran through the game on high with my old graphics card and no issues. The new card runs it on Ultra on Steam with no crashes or stuttering. Runs perfectly and beautifully. Great story. I highly recommend.

Pretty much a classic that defies any description. A game one can keep going back to just to have fun.

This game surprised me. The mechanics are fresh. The story is full of exploring and killing. I really cant get enough of it.

Ok. I have been playing this game and I dont understand how people can run through this in 2 hours.

I have a feeling people are not even trying with this. Just trying to down vote because people believe it to be a part of some SJW agenda. Which it isnt.

The first prologue and mission before you even get to New York takes about 2 hours if you follow a good walk through and you want to not have to go back and go through it again. Its just like The New Order.

It has cutscences that are both campy and serious. It has nazi killing fun. You kill big semi-cyborg nazi machines like the last one without any big build up because... Hey! They did that last time.

People who complain about issues dont know how to use Google. Its always your friend and running this game (and most) in Windowed Borderless fixess all of the crash issues. Or you have a baked potato for a PC with sour cream and chives and bacon bits cooking on the CPU fan.

Look. This game tells a story. It does what Bethesda went out to do. Just like The New Order. It does it well. There are Easter Eggs everywhere in their world and it makes it fun. There is no way on earth or on venus that this game can be finished in 2 hours. Thats about how long the cutscenes last without game play. No way this game can only last that.

(I have also spent well longer than that and am only in Manhattan. )

Get this game if you dont care about the trolls or people grinding there gears over their personal life's failures. Buy it for what it is. A fun/"funny" continuation of the Wolfenstein Series.

This is one tough game.

Not because it is hard to play, just hard to swallow. I dont know if I can recommend it at the price I paid for it. I will try to give an honest review.

I have played this through, I'm guessing, about 1/2-2/3s of the way through. It becomes a tediously long game just before the middle of the game. I found myself going through two beers driving to an objective and back again. 15-20 minutes of flooring my car to get across New Orleans.

Doing that, I have noticed some odd things. NPCs look the same. The same three or 4 people are walking down a street. The same with cars. It doesnt happen often but if you are forced to choose between the bordom of driving 50 miles and picking up a wanted just to see how many cops drive off bridges or crash or murdering people on the sidewalk you sometimes choose to hit a few people to get wanted status. So you notice these things.

Afros in this game look like torn cgi. Well about half the time. They look like cotton balls pulled apart.

The first mission on the streets of New Orleans, a trash truck appeared at the light infront of me on top of a car which caused a huge explosion and then another trash truck appeared on that. It was funny to watch. For a AAA game that shouldnt happen on accident.

You also will have your hand held in this game. "Secret" unlocks will show up on your map. There is no joy in the hunt for those magazines and pictures like there was in Mafia II.

Sneaking can be fun. It will be ruined if you accidentally bump a wall and it pushes you up right before a sneak kill or it locks you to a wall as you are hitting the button and you swing instead of a stealth kill.

The story flashbacks/flashforwards can be confusing. And they seem to just be a filler. If I wanted to watch a Congressional hearing I would watch CSPAN.

Ok... the only part that makes me want to recommend this is the story. The base story. (Not the congressional hearings) It is enjoyable when you get to a cutscene. It is engrossing and well scripted and voiced. Lincoln Clay is a good anti-hero. I wish the story was about Vito but well... he's in it. I can get behind Lincoln as I did with Vito in Mafia II. They have the world against them and all they can do is fight.

Can I recommend this game? No. I really cant. If you are a story buff and are playing it just for that then you should buy it. If you want to have smooth gameplay and a lack of tedium then look elsewhere.

After finishing the game, I decided to add a bit to this.

There were a lot of fixes to this game since I started playing this and reviewed it.

I dont see a lot of the same people and cars over and over again. Which is a plus (it was more annoying). The constant driving around led me to stop doing the mini missions like drug, gun, booze running. It really is annoying considering how huge the map is.

The story got better except for a moment before the very end. I had spread out the territories equally and in one of the endings, it gives the territory automatically to one of your Lt. And it wasnt the one I was hoping. I dont know if it was random. It would of been nice if I could of chosen besides having to cut one of them out.

The credits were VERY long and you have no choice to skip it. You do get a cool credits clip which I hope is a DLC.

And the static save system in this stinks, forcing you to go back and play the game again to get the ending you want if you mess up. So I suggest you start doing research as soon as possible to decide your ending.

Im sure, considering the updates, this game will fix a lot of the annoying problems. Just because of the story, I can recommend this all though if I had the option it would be a 6.5 out of 10. Maybe 6. It has potential for a higher grade. You also have to be in it for the story. If you want to play it for the game play, you might not like it.

For being the final DLC, it is a real let down.

The story is linear. If you go good, you are pretty much out of luck for a lot of achievments. (You can go back and use a previous save)

The dialogue is pretty bland. Its shorter than others. You have no control of the story.

Its really sad because the game had a really good expansion with Far Harbor. And for Nuka World to be the last, it just leaves a bitter taste.
