I hated Eternal, it was too fast, had too much weapon switching, had too much platforming and managing ammo (why should I?) was too much of a pain to enjoy the game. This one is slower, meatier, and more raw. The parrying was different but I got used to it (and pretty good at it towards the end) and enjoyed the feel of the character movement and weapons. Definitely more my speed of Doom.
