Fun autobattler at first but the paywalls quickly make it a labyrinth for f2p enjoyment. i'm probably too sensitive to timers to enjoy phone games like this one but prepare to lose frequently after your first day and be bombarded with microtransactions. The final straw was tutorial softlocks that if you don't know what you're doing will cripple you until you pay for the correct upgrades or force you into unwinable battles.

as a singleplayer only experience the novelty runs out fast and each map feels like an hour of frustration on the normal difficulty so if you were like me and planning to try it out and return it if you didn't like it then save yourself the hassle of "Maybe it gets better later?" it doesn't. just more complicated maps.

4 levels, either too easy or pixel perfect headache. "Strategy" is exploit AI to buy time to increase your score until you can die enough to get decent upgrades. Level up to get 50 perks that do very little except in one map. now find the 3 you want and never change. also that one thing that makes the most money? don't bother building it, there's no way to defend it traditionally and it gives you nothing if it breaks. I feel no reward for correctly building, just mitigating loss. the big boss is amazing and I'd love more of things like it if I could actually afford a wall late game! Slow Arrows, Short spears, narrow sword arcs, I'm going back to Vampire Survivors

not as much a jumpscare game as an 80's Slasher themed puzzle mystery. even those who hate horror games will have a wonderful experience here. If you play it perfectly it's relatively short game I think I beat it in 5-6 hours but I felt I got my money's worth in that time

so that trailer? that's it... that's the whole game. wanna see some ecchi jpegs after doing some puzzles, do a few skyrim lockpickings and crack some safes for no reason? get this game!...or just brute force the 4 digit code like I did in the first 2 minutes of the game and skip all that.

WAS a relaxing citybuilder with good vibes and intricate systems with creative problems to solve on a galactic level.... until it decides to give you a faustian bargain with those nanospires that might give you something good but take away a fundamental aspect of keeping your island alive. now I have to triple check ever decision I make and pray things don't explode and lock me out of entire sections of the game due to the slim chance the roll of the dice will corner me into a gamebreaking failstate!!!
...or at least that's what my paranoid brain is telling me which is why I can't enjoy the game like I did the first 10 hours.

great local 5min battles with friends. it's better with the more people you play with. Remote Play really makes this feel like an actual couch arcade experience

Never play a shoddy RPG maker game for the first time at 3am. I knew I wasn't going to have fun with this after less than 15 minutes. spent 10 minutes on the disclaimer screen trying to figure out how to start the game. UI is terrible. bare minimum RPG maker programming made every button press confusing. I barely would figure out how to spell my name since there's no buttons for erasing letters and only after hitting Esc to try and leave the game did it turn out THATS how you Delete Letters. then after searching for the mines for a while I finally found the gate to the first tutorial area and by then I was already frustrated and having to use opposite ends of my keyboard to do anything. and this is apparently a $20 game I got on sale. I've had more fun and satisfying gameplay on free Newgrounds games.
