Awesome game. If you want a proper battlefield experience and don't like the crap EA has recently been putting out, this game is for you.
I only hope that the developer doesn't brake Linux/SteamDeck support with the Faceit anticheat they have been planning to add to the game.
Anticheat should be implemented server side and not with intrusive spyware on the client side. That only hurts legitimate players, and hackers will just bypass those client side anticheats anyway.

EDIT: The developer has confirmed that Faceit will be adding Linux support and BattleBit will be the first game to have it

The most realistic skating game currently available. Still has some small bugs here and there, but mostly quite
a solid experience. Has a built-in stats menu where you can change pretty much everything from truck tightness, wheel grip, scoop and flip speed to gravity, push speed, pop height, reverting, you name it.
Even though not perfect, its still the best skateboarding game you can buy right now.

If you like going sideways in a car, I can recommend this👍️

Bungie is actively blocking and banning Linux and Steam Deck users for no reason. Can't give a positive review unless this is changed.

I haven't yet completed the game, but I'm posting a review now because people need to know.

The game itself is great but has issues not related to gameplay which degrade the experience so much that I honestly can't recommend this in it's current state.

This unlike earlier From Software games, uses EasyAntiCheat which has been causing issues for many players, including myself. More often than not, the EAC popup shows but after that the game window never shows up. The only somewhat reliable workaround is to delete the EasyAntiCheat folder from inside the game's files (and the game's compatdata directory if using Linux) and then verifying the game's local files. Steam will then re-download the correct EAC files and the game should be able to launch.
Other users have been experiencing different problems with EAC, such as crashes, getting stuck at a white/black screen and "inappropriate activity detected" errors etc without any good reason.

If you are able to get the game started, you're faced with the second major issue, performance.
Afaik, this is an issue on the PC version only, but nevertheless a major issue which needs to be fixed.
Even on high-end hardware, the game fails to maintain a steady 60fps, especially in open areas. Sometimes the framerate drops down to 20-30fps in the worst cases. Only in some closed areas a steady 60fps is possible currently.

This game deserves a thumbs up, but I can't give it before these issues are solved...

EDIT: Seems like my savefile just got deleted. When I started the game I was only presented with a "NEW GAME" option in the main menu. No "CONTINUE" or "LOAD GAME" option in sight. So apparently that's a thing too...
EDIT 2: Most of the game's performance issues have been solved, but not all and EAC is still causing the same problems as before.

This game sucked when it first released in 2016, and it didn't have most of the advertised features. Now in 2022 however, it does and it has much more than that. Hello Games have been pushing out great updates for the game over the years, for free.
The game still has bugs which you _will_ encounter, that comes without question, but none so far have been game breaking. All the bugs I have encountered can be worked around, or fixed, or can just be completely avoided. The latest update fixed a bunch of bugs and performance issues, improved freighters etc and runs quite well with fairly high graphics settings, even though my system isn't the best.

TL;DR; -> The game sucked before, but now its good. If you are fine with some bugs here and there (which all seem to be avoidable/non game breaking), this game is well worth the price, especially if you can get it on sale.

Probably one of, if not the best game ever made. I recommend playing the first time blind without any prior knowledge for the best possible experience. You don't want to spoil it for yourself. After all, you can ever play a game once for the first time, and I would argue that the mystery and not knowing what to do or where to go is part of the intended experience.
