I love this game. I spent hours playing when I was younger.
However, there are still quite a few bugs, not all of them legacy from the original game. The updated internal view of the B17 is very good and the developers are putting out updates every week though so things are constantly getting better.
I look forward to changing this to a thumbs up.
I will keep updating this review as things progress.

In no particular order. Bugs I have currently found:

Can't hear Flack inside the aircraft
Can't see elevator flaps from the tail gunners seat (Legacy)
Post update 1.0.9 Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby. The new Luftwaffe wave attacks and tactics are fantastic and create a true chaotic feel. I't feels really rewarding to actually shoot one down now as it is much harder. However if you have half of one wave attacking and another new one joins in the game will crash as it currently can't keep up with everything going on.
B17 is unable to maintain formation after loosing a single engine - Post update 1.0.8 this is better
Unable to fly Luftwaffe aircraft unless you start the mission in one
AI often crash lands on return home as they have not lined up with the runway properly.
Briefing room door difficult to find unless you know where to look.
Any changes made to the mission route before starting the mission resets the bomb load
Standard key binds not working: CTRL,SHIFT,Q to end a mission,

Would be nice to have:
The ability to zoom in and out in action view
If NPC bombers in formation dropped bombs and shot at Luftwaffe
Cheyene armaments upgrade

This game has sooooo much potential and already pretty decent.
Like so many others on here I just can't give it a thumbs up until it has controller support.

It's free to play & its a game that has been around a while so set you expectations accordingly. Not bad though

This game is on another level. The Flight mechanics are on another level, the graphics are really good. There is so much detail in the way you can use everything the cockpit to really fly these birds. They have even worked in things like ground effect. It is truly something special.

I can't recommend it simply because you need to mortgage your house to get any DLC. Wouldn't mind paying a little for the base game to pay significantly less for the DLC.

Super chilled out game that is surprisingly addictive. It's not too expensive and the DLC is pretty cheap too (especially in the sales). And if the main game doesn't quite float your boat there are tons of mods to spice things up a bit.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing this game. Its fun, fast paced & exciting.

The trouble is the game often crashes or dissconnects from the server during loading screens. This means you either miss matches &/or arrive to find your ship a sunken wreck &, if you have put consumables on your ship they are gone with it with no chance to use them.

I really like flying this aircraft.

There are a few bits that could be improved; the external lighting, the amount of controls that arn't labled or are unusable and the lack of relevant missions for this bird, to name a few

That siad it is easy to fly and handles well

Good game but I would only get the DLC in sales as its a bit expensive.

Would be good to see a random mission generator on here too like in Microsoft Flight
