Nothing positive to say about this game other then the game counts towards game count. The music is obnoxious and controls are terrible.

Honestly, this would generally not be my type of game. The fast-based and smooth movement is extremely satisfying and when you finally ace a mission that has been bugging you is great. The story is good, with some honestly really funny moments, there is also some pretty good VA though out most of the game barside chats. I also found the music is really good, though it can get a bit annoying after trying a single level for longer than 15-30 minutes. Is this game revolutionary, no though it's a hell of a good time playing as neon white.
Edit: Having now actually finished the story (I was on mission 9 when I initially wrote this), can I say it was a blast, I know this just released though I really hope that there is DLC of the perspectives of the other characters. Whelp time to do the rushes till then.

-I'll start this by saying that I had bought the upgrade as I was already playing and loving death stranding to begin with. I will also say that I can understand the confusion that there is around calling it the "Director's Cut", but that is a Sony decision not much we can do.
-This upgrade is essentially the definitive edition of the game and the new mechanics, place, and equipment are totally worth the 10 bucks for the upgrade (my favorite being the ranked missions), honestly I would have paid a little more if I had to. The game its self is well worth the money if you ever thought about picking it up, though as its mostly a single player game it won't do you any harm to wait for a sale if you strapped for cash.
-Will this be a game for every one, god no, though if you enjoy a really good story with plenty of mystery and phenomenal voice acting to help this is a game for you. Just make sure to watch out for the BTs and keep on keeping on.

This is unironically one of my favorite games that I have ever played. It is definitely not a hard game by any means especially if the Tarr is off [Casual mode] (this is what I did). It simply becomes a highly relaxing game with really no worries and plenty of cute slimes and wonderful music that actually has different sounds depending on if the Tarr is on or off and if it's night or day. In the background (at least for me) there is a pretty interesting story of mystery and adventure. Finally, when it comes to DLC there are only cosmetics (one of which is free), and soundtracks meaning that everything that is content-related was either already in the game or added in FREE updates such as the quicksilver slimes and the feral slimes. I really can't wait to see what the second game holds in store.

When I had started playing I had completely forgotten that I had got this game from humblebundle. Though I am pretty happy that I had found it amongst my games. While it is definitely not the most action-packed game there is it does have a really good charm to it with many different activities that are available from minigolf to fishing all of which have can lead to socializing with other people allowing you to possibly make friends or simply have a nice conversation while looking for those sea tokens.

I have owned this game since it initially launched purchasing it a few weeks after the first day and have been playing on and off since then, and to be honest I was actually pretty fine with it at the time as I had heard about all the bad things so I lowered my expectations. This game has been evolving at a phenomenal rate since then, with the inclusion of vehicles from submarines to mechs, really fun base-building mechanics, and even events that are really fun to do. I may not have the most play time in this game out of the people that have had it as long as I have but, I have definitely had a blast and am excited to see what they will do in the future.

I had initially just gotten this game to get the steam items, though I was pleasantly surprised with how good it truly was. There is a good amount of balance with each agent having slightly varied stats, but not to the point that you only have to pick one to actually win. While there is some amount of strategy, when picking the power-ups, for the most part, it is a fast-paced random game that is good for a quick study break.

There are not many long games that I truly wish to 100%, this is an exception to that. While this game can absolutely have its frustrating parts, getting past them is truly rewarding. I can easily see why a person can dislike this game as it is for the most part a "walking simulator" with a story that can be really confusing at parts. All in all, it is a joy to play and I'm excited to finish it, though I'll be taking my time to do so.
