Can get repetitive, but overall very engaging and interesting plot.

After playing through this and Last Light, I have to say, that these are some of the most immersive games I have ever played.
I have never been so afraid of monsters and the world in general in any other game. The atmosphere in this game is so down bringing and hopeless. I was so immersed, that when someone disturbed me, I nearly always flinched, because I was either on the dead surface or in dark tunnels. My heart was always racing while playing this game. I'll try to keep my review short though, here are some pros and cons:

PROS:

  • Immersive and interesting atmosphere
  • Strong, interesting story
  • Good stealth elements
  • Intimidating monsters
  • In various levels, you have to figure out what to do yourself, which helps with immersion.

    CONS:

  • I think the price is a bit steep for about 9 hrs of story (even though it's really good)
  • A few levels are a bit repetitive, but it's not that bad.

    CONCLUSION:
If this game is on sale, I would recommend buying the Metro Redux bundle, because you get this game and Metro: Last Light Redux for a very good price. Even if you have read the book (like I have) it's still very fun to see the world come to life in this game.

I would definitely recommend this game to people like these sorts of a games and strategy games in general.
I'm not gonna make a long review, but I'm gonna list a few pros, cons and at the end an overview/conclusion.

PROS:
  • Huge replayability, every 'playthrough' is different
  • There is a playstyle for nearly everyone (if you have the Brave New World DLC; we'll get back to that later)
  • The multiplayer is very fun, especially when you go after the domination victory.
  • The workshop is filled with mods, that add civs, mechanics, scenarios, which all add to the replayability of this game.

CONS:
  • I have never played without the DLCs (except in multiplayer) but from what I've heard and seen, without the DLC, Civilization V is not as enjoyable, so I could only recommend it with the DLCs.Without the DLCs there are also about 20 less civilizations to play, so a lot of playstyles (strategies) can't really be played without them.
  • The AI can be pretty moronic (surprisingly so in Multiplayer [e.g. I'll give you Sugar for all your Resources]) and do pretty dumb things, like declare war on civilisations halfway across the world.
CONCLUSION:

All in all, I could only recommend buying this game (with all addons), especially if it's on sale and you can get all the DLCs with the game for only 11 Euros or so (like me). It's one of my favourite games and I'm definitely going to be playing a lot more.

I am new to the Fallout franchise and this was my first Fallout game.
I was so hyped and when I got this game I just couldnt stop playing, it basically consumed my life for several days.I didnt even focus on the story because there are just so many awesome things to do, like going around in Power Armour and feeling like a boss, just killing everybody. The game isnt flawless, though. What I find annoying is that the Radio repeats every hour or so which gets annoying because it also partially reports on things that have already happened. Then, of course, there are the loading screens.I didnt really have very long loading screens like everyone says but they're still pretty long. What I really had a hard time with, is deciding with which faction you want to end the game.I went with the Railroad ending because that just seemed best to free the synths who were basically slaves. But I could also see me going with the Institute ending because of all the technology it could bring to the wasteland, and help Humankind.I was also leaning on the Brotherhood of Steel ending because it also just seemed right to try to make the world better by destroying everything that came from the nuclear fallout (like the ghouls, supermutants etc) .I really had a hard time deciding with what faction to end with because I didnt want to make a wrong decision, which I think is a sign that Bethesda really put a lot of work to make them all interesting. All in all Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games and I could only recommend it,especially if it's on Sale.I also cant wait for the DLC, which is coming soon.

I love this game for many reasons, but I'm going to try to cut it short.
The story is funny at points which I think makes it even better to play and I just love those puzzles and if you like games like that you'll love this one.Whats also amazing is all the Chambers people make if you played it through and not many of your friends have it just play the community made maps.So I would say buy it if you really like these kind of games because I didn't regret it and I think you won't either.
