also, campaign is not enjoyable.

I spent 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ days grinding for an item i wanted only to get mugged and instakilled within 32 seconds of leaving the city.

I genuinely hope whoever did that trips down their stairs or something.

other than that, good game.

Honestly a great game, but can't reccomned because too buggy. after my first character dehydrated to death, i spawned in my second character, and found a goldmine of loot, inluding weapons, armour and supplies to last me half a week. after i lost connection to the server, I loaded back in to find i could not move, open my inventory, or do anything at all, even open the menu. after forcequitting the game, i tried several other servers and the same thing happened. I on my third or so try, i was spawned in the middle of about 3 zombies who promptly mauled me to death, and i lost everything. if you fix this bug, i could honestly reccomend this game. I understand this just came out of aplha/beta testing, but you should at least have check for this kind of thing before releasing a free weekend.

Despite my personal issues with this game, it's still fun enough to play and unique enough that you can't call it a trashy clone. solid game.

I LOVE this game. positivley love it. but i can't reccomend it. sure, i can reccomend thie first 30-40 hours of it, and i can say that it's the most fun i've had in a while. and the later levels? also fun. still highly reccomend. the problem is the dungeons that start appearing. almost every mission becomes a dungeon intended to be played by several players. and you cannot progress until you have completed the dungeon. and since several people are intended to do it, the enemies in said dungeons become tanky as all hell. so people like me, who just tried to ignore the social aspects of the game and, y'know, just play the game, have to grind slowly through these, picking off each individual enemy as we go. i eventually gave up and stopped playing full time when i came across a dungeon boss whose health must've numbered somewhere in the millions, and had some kind of self-healing effect that the game didn't tell me about. i spent a whole hour running around in a circle in a featureless room kiting him and hitting him with everything i had before running back to the ammobox, and at the end of it, all i had to show for it was an almost unnoticable sliver of his healh bar gone, and every time i looked away form him for a second, he had regenerated it all. not to mention he could literally instakill me. so i said "♥♥♥♥ it!" and quit. i would've gotten some guys from the server to help me, but we all know that trying to coordinate a dungeon run with randos is like trying to herd cattle if the all the cows had special needs and suicidal tendencies. if you can get a group of friends together and actually play this game, i highly reccomend it. but if you can't, i don't reccomend ever leaving the first few areas of the game.

... this is just the original game but worse. not bad enough to crucify you guys over it, like many others are doing, but this is literally the exact same game as before but with a few minor tweaks that all seem to make it less fun. oh, and the character I spent hours of my life customizing in the original now looks like a moron no matter how hard i try to recreate him. sure, mabye there's some new story down the road that i'll never see, and it's super cool, but after I was forced to watch the same cutscene and do the same tutorial i've done upteen times before in normal defiance, I've decided to just stick to playing the original. I'm going to give this game one more shot to see if i can find anything in here that makes it better. I'm just gonna say, this probably wouldn't have flopped so hard if you had just released this as some kind of update instead of marketing it under the implication it was an entirely new game.

played through several times, brought back memories from when i had this years ago. still a solid and fun game after all these years, even if it is rather simple.

seems like a decent enough game with good ideas, but the matchfinding time is way too long and team-killing is rampant. couldnt even play a full hour without getting pissed off

is a good game, but an extremely difficult control shceme, especially for players who are experined in other MMO's
