Brings back so many memories of playing Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii with my family, mashing every single button because I was like 10/11 and didn't know what I was doing. Now I can play a very similar game on PC with friends and actually know what I'm doing thanks to the informative tutorial system! Oh, and mod support is pretty cool too.

This game, this freaking game, it's both a blessing and a curse.

It started as friends wanting me to watch anime with them on PC and escalated into spending hundreds of dollars on a headset and equipment in the span of like a couple weeks. Not that it's a bad thing, I love my headset to death (Quest 2, highly recommend for anyone looking for entry level VR) and the fact that VRChat really helps with my horrid social anxiety even though I just observe most of the time anyways because of public server chaos.

Word of warning though, just be careful. There are some sketchy things as to be expected, but it's alright for the most part. If you can dodge and weave around all of that though, I really do recommend this to just about everyone as a really nice social platform.

The only way to find out what happens when a semi truck going 200 MPH collides into a tiny Italian car without causing any real injury or property damage. Also a great realistic driving simulation with built in mod support for even more wacky content.

Not 2D Minecraft, but an incredible 2D sandbox game that has spooky dungeons, different biomes, lots of bosses, and thousands of items and blocks for you to experiment with. Great with friends granted that your friends don't intentionally trap you or kill you with PvP a billion times.

Incredible combination of real-time space battles and turn based movement with loads of strategy that sucks you in like a black hole. It's exceptionally easy to pick up and learn but hard to put down with Advanced Edition adding even more content basically for free. It even has mods if, you know, the game wasn't hard or long enough for you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If there was a "maybe" option for recommending this game, this is probably where it would belong.

The game is overall pretty good and a very solid arcade racing game with a great open world, but there are some things that just personally annoy me like the loot system. There is nothing wrong with the loot system itself, but the problem it brings is that you only gain loot that is either slightly above or below the level of the current part in a particular class which means you are going to have to replay races a lot in a particular class in order to get good parts for that class (not to mention rarities and the parts that you get are random every time so there is a good chance that you will get the same part like 50 times). This also becomes the same story later in the game with money and followers. Another thing that I dislike but I have not had issues with is the always online DRM that exists. Honestly, I am not surprised that there is always online DRM because Ubisoft LOVES to put that in their games, but I am not a fan of this type of DRM since you can only play the game if you have a decent internet connection which not everyone has. If you can ignore those couple of things though, you'll probably like this game especially if you like arcade racing over simulation racing.

It's basically Terraria in space. What more could you want?
