A hat in time is a super cute 3d platformer with enough charm to fill a room.
The platforming is great due to an excellent movement system that is fun to master, and with great levels to come with it it's a ton of fun.
The base game is well worth the price, with quite a lot of playtime to go with it. The story itself can seem slightly lacking, but it does not matter when you think of all the different memorable characters you meet along the way(who are fully voice-acted by the way)
The soundtrack is absolutely banging as well by the way

The first DLC (seal the deal) is also well worth the price. It brings a new set of levels to complete, but the real playtime happenes in Deathwish, where you play through already familiar levels amped up to 1000. (The dark souls of 3d platforming?)

The second DLC (nyakuza metro) is very fun, very cute, and well worth getting. The Metro is well crafted to be an open-world like space that you can traverse and explore as you like.

I absolutely recommend this game to any fans of platformers

One of my favourite games of all time. Really good and tight mechanics that are easy to understand and fun to master. The soundtrack is simply awesome and so inspiring and the story is stunning, something I didn't expect when I first got the game. The main character is relateable on a personal level and I felt invested in the story from the get go.

I have now 100% achievements, as of now I only have done this three times and this game leaves me wanting more. I would recommend this to anyone from the bottom of my heart, but do excpect a challange (although there is assist mode as well that will make life easier for the people who either need it or want to activate it)

I just finished the game (not 100% but main game) and wow.

The graphics look beautiful and is quite simply fantastic. I mainly bought this game for the graphics and came out of it with an incredible experience. The world is so vivid and how the developers presented it was perfect. They didn't need words to explain the world and instead used imagery. i must say however, not all is completely clear from what we get to know from the npcs and cutscenes, but this might simply be in order for ourselves to fill in the gaps.

The graphics are beautiful endeed, but what about gameplay you say? Well, it is beyond frustrating at certain points, however not because of the controls. This is simply because of the way they throw you into the world, with little to no explanaition of how to do stuff(there is a quick little tutorial at the beginning that explains certain things.) I am of course talking about "Chain dash", an unlockable ability that lets you chain dashes together to create a bigger dash than you normally can. It was my first unlock and I understood nothin of it until I got halfway through the game.

HOWEVER, gameplay is absolutely awesome and you feel really badass when you slice, shoot and blow monsters up with your abilities.

In terms of story it lacks a bit of explanation towards certain things(I really want to know more about the world you know) But it still makes you interested without saying or typing a single word.

TL;DR:
It is simply amazing and you should definetly buy this game. If you are uncertain, buy it during a sale as I did. It is absolutely worth it.

What's not to love about this game?
The music is simply amazing, the consept is awesome, the gameplay better, the puns funny and the replay value is great. I have finally beat bard, cadence, melody, nocturna and monk. I am less than half way there, and I've loved every single second playing this game.
In the beginning it might be hard because of the fact that you are forced to move to the beat, while still fighting against all of the different enemies. You can simply "cheat" yourself through the crypt with bard to memorize the different attack patterns of each enemy, making it considerably easier to go through the levels with cadence later.

This is a golden game on every level. This game is simply worth buying, and the dlc too.

A brilliant mod to a brilliant game. The one, talking character is fun and the story is too. It really gets your brain thinking with gel. Its an interesting game in terms of mechanics, as it still has the same portal like feeling to it, while still making it an entirely new experience. I would really recommend it to anyone who enjoys the portal games.

An absolute golden game. The simple game mechanics, fast paced 3d platforming and good replay value makes this one of the best games i've played. Even if the editor is kind of confusing at , it is still fun to play around with it.

This game is simply awesome. Even between the parts of bloodshed. (Wait, there's parts without bloodshed. Didn't realize. The more you know, right?)
Tons of blood will be spilled, countless demons dead, and an uncountable amount of bullets used.

The game itself is simply gold, though do not be fooled by it's "Full controller support", this it does not have. this is easy to fix, however, with a simple program that I don't really remember the name of currently. (wow, didn't believe it would be that hard to write a gorydamn rewiew, geez)
But what the game has is an incredible story, awesome gameplay, nice pixelated graphics and... You know what, ♥♥♥♥ it, i'm going off the script here, what the hell are you even doing down here in the comment section? Buy the bloody game already! Its awesome, trust me! (well, don't trust me to write good rewiews, but trust me on this one)
Definetly worth a buy, seriously, you won't regret it. unless you're an idiot that is. (but you're not, are you?)
