It really makes you FEEL like a viking.

The new large scale warfare levels adds a welcome grande scale to the combat. Definitely my favorite of the new additions to the series.

Next level frustrating.

The story of hacking into the new blume 2.0 network is an interesting plot, but in order to actually do the fun part of the game you need to "Acquire Followers", Millions of them. You play missions and get a couple thousand, maybe up to 100k in big missions. It's just a tedious grind to get to the interesting part. Not to mention how weak the characters are. You basically play as a Terrorist running around the city killing people over the smallest little things. For example, there is a mission where you break into a movie studio to steal a car that is being used in a "Hacker Thriller". During this mission you can, and probably will murder ~15 guards in the duration of the mission. How am I suppose to feel good about stealing some prop car that holds up production of a bad movie that isn't hurting anyone, when I just killed 15 people. The characters are shallow and have no moralities.

In the first watch_dogs you played as Aiden Pearce, a man who's niece was killed during an assassination attempt on his life. Because of this he becomes the hacker vigilante. This game has a strong moral compass and your actions have consequences, however minor. When you kill a cop, your reputation goes down into criminal menace. And when you do good things, like prevent murders or steal something back for someone. You get positive points, making you a publicly adored vigilante.

This lack of morality is what absolutely kills my immersion and interest in the second installment of watch_dogs.
