Lords of the Fallen is a game I genuinely enjoy. It’s a bit more approachable than traditional Souls games, but that feels like a deliberate design choice rather than a flaw. And for players who want more challenge, the Veteran Mode now offers a tougher, more punishing experience that brings back a real sense of tension.

Playing solo is where the game really shines for me. The atmosphere is strong, the Umbral mechanic adds a constant layer of risk, and exploration feels rewarding instead of exhausting. The balance between danger and progress is well judged, making it engaging without becoming overly frustrating.

Co-op is unfortunately not flawless. There are some desync issues that can interrupt the flow, so a full co-op playthrough isn’t ideal right now. That said, jumping in occasionally to help random players or clear a few areas together still works well enough and can be a lot of fun.

Overall, a solid action RPG with its own identity. Not perfect, but confident in what it wants to be, and very enjoyable if you’re looking for something Souls-like without the constant brutality.

Surprisingly solid risk-reward shooter with great pacing

I’ve been playing Ark Raiders for a while now, and it’s genuinely fun. The core loop feels solid, and the pacing is just right. It’s not as fast as Arena Breakout, but it’s also not as slow and punishing as Tarkov. You do need to be a bit frustration-resistant though, because it really is a risk-reward game at heart. Losing your stuff stings, but that’s also what makes each run exciting.

I’ve played solo, duo, and trio with random players, and all modes work quite well. I’m still not entirely sure how well-balanced it is for two players, but overall it feels stable and enjoyable.

If you like tactical shooters that reward patience and smart decisions, Ark Raiders is definitely worth checking out.

Early Access Review
Project Zomboid is a game that is a lot of fun to discover and learn new things - especially when playing with others. Surviving in a post-apocalyptic world offers plenty of opportunities to try things out and constantly discover new mechanics. However, once you're familiar with the game, it can quickly become a little dull. Without new goals or challenges, the excitement is reduced, which is why you often have to set yourself challenges to maintain your interest. If you can get into it, you will find a game here that can also be addictive in the long term. However, those who are reliant on constant instructions from outside could quickly become bored.

A Fresh Breath with the New Age System
Civilization 7 introduces some exciting new features, especially the new Age transition system. The shift between epochs adds a fresh dynamic, constantly pushing players to adapt their strategies. Old alliances dissolve, new civilizations emerge, and you must stay flexible as the game world changes. This prevents players from locking into a single strategy too early and keeps the gameplay engaging.

The ability to combine leaders and civilizations freely is another great addition. For example, you can play as Napoleon leading the Maya, which creates unexpected synergies and adds fresh styles of play.

Weakness: The UI feels unfinished
Unfortunately, the interface still feels quite underdeveloped. Key information is often hard to access, menus feel cluttered, and overall the controls aren't as intuitive as they should be. This could be frustrating, especially for newcomers. It's a shame because it interrupts the flow of the game unnecessarily.

Conclusion
Despite the UI shortcomings, Civilization 7 is a lot of fun. The Age transitions bring an exciting new dynamic to the game, and the leader combinations add variety. If the developers improve the interface with updates, Civ 7 could become one of the best entries in the series.

I came back after a while for the new update, and I have to say, the game is more fun than ever! The developers have made some smart changes that enhance the experience without losing the unique thrill of Hunt: Showdown.

One of the biggest changes is the revamped UI. At first, it feels a bit strange, but after getting used to it, it’s not as bad as it seems. The menus are better organized, and everything starts to feel more intuitive with time.

Beyond the UI tweaks, the core gameplay is still as intense as ever. The atmosphere is thick, the strategic play is rewarding, and the firefights are as tense as they’ve always been. The balance feels solid, and the new content gives the game a nice fresh boost.

Overall, Hunt: Showdown has taken another step forward with this update. If you haven’t played in a while, it’s definitely worth jumping back in—it’s more fun than I remembered!

Great game, with a not so long campaign, but great PVE mode. It is especially fun when playing with friends.

Great game with some performance issues in one of the cities. If you are patient enough for the traveling and exploring this might be for you, as there are very little fast travel opportunities in the first half of the game.

Just finished it. I played the original and this is a great remake. The only downside is, that the gunplay gets a bit boring after a while, as there is not a lot of variaty then to get to cover and shoot.

Fun game. You have to learn your hunter first, but once you get them, it is a fun game. I recommend to play it with premates.
